I sent a package to Russia 39 days ago using Priority mail. I did it for my mom who is 88 years old, had a stroke and her health becomes worse every day, hoping that she could enjoy with the food items which can not be find in Russia. At my local post office I was told that it can take more than 10 days which supposed to be, but in some cases it can take 20 days, depending on destination country, because they explain only there can be a problem I was trying to track my package- no chance. I called them to see what happens (in 10 days), they could not even tell that the package left USA. They promised to find out. I called several times, nothing was done, they stil can not tell if the package left USA, because there is nothing in their tracking system(if such exists).

I had two packages shipped to me in Missouri from Colorado; one by UPS Ground, the other by USPS Priority Mail. The UPS Ground package arrived two days later as expected, however the USPS Priority Mail took 7 days to arrive! This is as slow as normal USPS mail, despite the fact that USPS states that you can expect to receive your package within 2-3 days. I am disappointed and angered since I not only payed extra for the Priority Mail service, but because I needed my shipment delivered promptly. As a result of this outrageously poor service my business has lost several thousand dollars.
I will never again be making use of USPS's services for either personal or business matters, apart from the mandatory delivery of letters due to their nonsensical monopoly.
