Just Needs A Larger Playerbase
The GM is active in the game and does changes based on votes by current players. If the player base grew even just the slightest this game would be great. When it first started there were a good amount of players but it has slowly gone downhill, but I feel many games these days that are text based have been sliding down for the most part in either the player base or the quality of players.
The game is welcoming to new players and is good for late signups where bonuses are given to those who are not nearly as active or signed up late. Though still being active is key to playing the game and being a top player.

Worst Game Of This Kind
Game has a total of 20 players.
Of those 20 only 10 are active.
Of those 10 half are rude.
Teams are already decided based on who you are friends with.
If you know 5 of those 10 you will have no trouble here.
If not you will be bullied and kicked out.

This Game Has An Appearance That Hides The Unique
This game has an appearance that hides the unique and wonderful qualities within. Strategy, management, diplomacy, betrayal, role-playing, spell-casting, teamworking, terrorising, building, destroying; this game has all you could ever ask for. The community as of this review is very small, but this game has limitless potential and really needs to be made known. I'm a veteran gamer myself, and I haven't found a game that gives so much for so little time required to play it. Sign up and check it out, if you're looking for a quality experience and enjoy having devious powers at your disposal to squash the opposition, you won't be disappointed with Legions of Tercia!

Legions Of Tercia I've Played This Game
Legions of Tercia
I've played this game for quite some time now. And, have watched it go downhill for many rounds now. Each round, changes are made, that are supposed to balance the game. Instead, these changes make the imbalance between land and race types even more, removing most of the power from one type, and transferring it to another which hurts the game dynamics a lot.
there are several moderators to help police over this game. The moderators are overzealous in doing their jobs, deleting kingdom avatars and forums avatars that are neither adult in nature nor having foul language on them. they have been instructed to enforce rules that do not exist in any other game of this type, and to ignore that the primary base of players are adults. This sort of management is belittling to the player base, players should not be harassed for the types of images they post, as long as they follow the basic laws of obscenity placed in almost every state.
Over all, the game is fairly boring, with its lack of graphics (sure, we don't expect much from a text based game, but some would be nice). Many of the player base that are considered veterans of the game, are rude beyond imagination. It is my suggestion, that you skip over this game, and play something more fun, and, more friendly towards its players.

All Right For About 10 Years Ive Played Browser Ba
All right for about 10 years Ive played browser based strategy/sim games where you build an empire, attack other players and compete for Alliance domination and most powerful kingdom. A lot of folks have seen them, and they can be pretty boring, waiting on war generals to get back from attacks, no graphics. and the same old same old. Then I found LoT (legions of Tercia) This game is great, there is no set way to play and win. You build your empire around your specific playstyle, and find the right combination that works for you. Peace loving Magi, that can turn iron into gold, or food into wood! Or the fast and furious Demonologists, that can rip land away from adversaries with unparrallelled speed. Necromancers! The backbones of war, you can possess all of your opponents characters and take free run of thier lands with little they can do to repel your forces. Or even the Shaman, in war you can OPEN the earth and swallow opponents. The bigger your size, the bigger the effect. (Galactus syndrome anyone?) You level your War leaders. using spells, making attacks, training whatever you decide. Levels are based on XP, in 6 weeks its expected an average player can gain about 50 levels, some faster than others. The faster you level, the more destructive (or defensive) of an adversary you prove to be. You start with 4 diff classes start with diff characters. Some with 1 caster and 3 War leaders, others 2 and 2 or 3 and 1 even. As you attack monsters or players your characters proceed to ' level up ' and gain XP making them stronger, and making your casters much more effective in thier spells. Ever class has friendly and offensive spells. There is a help link to give you an idea of what they have to offer. Magi/feudal is the most peaceful and likely to survive a war, best suited on mountains or hills, Demon the most agressive, with a blend of speed, and strength, and necro probably the fastest and quickest to level up, but first to die in war as they are the most dangerous enemy. You join a clan, and work with them, to learn, grow, and help one another with friendly support spells. Clans can go to war with one another in the course of a game. This brings up a whole slew of options such as salt the earth, speed and attack bonuses, even the ability to steal magic items (yes magic items are won through monster attacks or bought from the auction, these include weapons, potions some permanent, some temporary, scrolls and armor) Ive played the rest, and this is by far the best. Active management! Some level of player control (voting, and suggestions are used quite often every round) and a diverse community that is waiting to expand. We are competitive. what this game lacks in graphics, and pretty pictures it makes up for 110% in gameplay, mechanics, mathematics and fun! So join us, sign up and give it a try. I am 100% commited to expanding this fine game, I know it isn't mine, but this game, has revived my interest in these type of games, IMO its the best of its kind, and its going to get bigger.http://www.legionsoftercia.net/index.php?Empire=1577
