Magis by Jasper Morrison Air Chair

Bought these chairs to be on deck but after a couple of years faded, pitted and stained badly. They really are not for prolonged outdoor use even though they are described as so.

Plus, I for the life of me, can not find any helpful advice on how to repair them. And I've have them for close to 8 years now!

Would not recommend for outdoor use.

I purchased 4 Magis Jasper Morrison Air Chairs several years ago. I am a big Jasper Morrison fan & have purchased several items designed by him. I have found them all except the air chairs to be excellent. My problem with the air chairs is the very poor quality of the inherent colour. All 4 of my chairs faded badly within 2 years of their purchase.

For an item sold as an 'outdoor' product I am not at all impressed.

The chairs now look terrible & Magis are unable to offer a decent explanation as to why this 'outdoor' product has completely failed to last.

I will not be able to recommend Magis Air chairs as a product.

The Air Chair designed by Jasper Morrison is a designer chair that is stylish, functional, lightweight, hard-wearing and stackable. It is also reasonably priced. We were looking for some new chairs to go with our oak kitchen table and after much deliberation chose some Charles Eames designed chairs. We were loaned some Air chairs by the shop we ordered the Eames chairs from and loved them so much we cancelled the Eames chairs order and ordered the Air chairs instead. They are great if you have kids (like us) and come in a range of bright colours.
