Rudest Reception Staff Ever
You're left in a waiting loop forever and when they finally pick up they're incredibly rude and unhelpful. The gym has nobody to look after if and it shows, it's bad value despite being cheap. Can't recommend.

Avoid
Avoid like the plague. It used to be enjoyable coming to this gym, until they installed a wooden platform and called it 'The Barbell Club'. Now you have to fight for an inch of space to do any sort of workout, due to these grunting, smelly people taking up all the space. Not content with taking up space with their bodies, they also have to have all their stuff laying around the gym. Weights, bags, drinks, you name it. There were lockers here before but they've disappeared to make way for these clowns.
Lots of women used to come here too, because it was a nice place to work out. Not anymore. They've sold their soul to these horrible specimens.

Although Not Strictly A Gym As Such, The Westway (
Although not strictly a gym as such, the Westway (www.westwaysportscentre.org.uk) is a good venue for playing football, indoor tennis and rockclimbing. It is located under the Westway flyover and the nearest tube is Latimer Road, on the Hammersmith & City underground line. Football pitches are of various sizes all with quality artificial surfaces. Try to book the full-size football pitch if you can as this is the best pitch. If you can't find (or don't have) 22 friends you can book half of the full-size pitch. I haven't used the tennis or rockclimbing facilities but they both seem to be well-used which would indicate a level of popularity. Try it for yourself.
