Awesome Walls Stockport

I've visited Awesome Walls in Pear Mill half a dozen times now and would recommend to anybody. Great fun for all ages!

Visited for a children's party. Worth it if you can get the Groupon offer for £65 (although the £168 saving quoted seems a bit misleading, as party package online quoted as £10 per person plus £15 for room per half hour)! If you pay full price, you will party alongside others paying half as much and they get a slighly better deal.

I think it would be a better deal for customers if they cut the cost, or offered a more attractive deal for their party groups overall, rather than a discount for just a few. They may then get more repeat business and word of mouth recommendations, rather than paying Groupon to advertise.

The party room is available for food, but you don't get any time to set up the food before the children are ready to eat, so can be a bit of a rush. Five minutes to set up before they are ready would be a good idea.

Children enjoyed it. Probably best suited for quieter groups, rather than those who like to run around. Lots of groups of children around, I did wonder what the 'serious' climbers think about this.

Awesome Walls stockport is a great climbing centre. It has a huge bouldering area with loads of lines to try, lots of overhung walls and obsticles to challenge you.They have a few different feature walls that can be quite challenging as well. There are lots of lines at different heights and many of the walls are inverted or have overhangs, even the Top Rope walls.If you have your own rope you could spend hours in there and 1 wall in particualr is massive and sure to challenge the best of climbers. The facilities are really good, the equipment ok, although harnesses hired are quite basic.The prices are ok and theres loads to do you im sure it will be quite a few visits before boredom set in.Overall its a great indoor climbing centre and the staff are really friendly and helpful.Awesome walls in stockport is a great centre and I cant wait to try the other climbing walls at the other Awesome Wall chains.
