Having already entered one review similar title and regarding the construction difficulty we had re the glazing and gutters, I am astonished to read many people found it a breeze to construct their Rhino Greenhouse. One lady managed it single handed and in only two days - excellent. So, when we visited Gardeners World Live at the NEC I hot footed it over to the Rhino Greenhouse stand to find out exactly where we had gone wrong. Well it so happens (as we knew by the way) that the mini range is not only cheaper than their other greenhouses, but also is very very different in assembly and and quality of the components to be assembled, for example: 1. The Mini is held together with self tapping screws and not the conventional groove and locking nuts, this of course makes it impossible to fit shelving,light shading,or any other thing anchored to them - they just fall out when any pressure is felt. 2. The gutters are pvc and when the sun gets on them they warp, the other Rhino models have sturdy aluminium gutters and properly fitting downpipes rather than a flimsy rubber pipe that hangs from the end cap and keeps falling off - I could go on, by the way the enthusiastic rep in attendance could only agree, but said it still was value for money. We originally tried to place an order for Halls Greenhouse but the call centre operator said this model was as good and with all the benefits, we only wish he had pointed out the assembly and gutters and the limitations this provides - self tapping screws have limited our use. Nevertheless, it is sturdy and providing good use.

Having just completed the construction, we found the glazing upvc beads extremely difficult to clip into position and managed to damage 3 of them before the job was complete, strong thumbs are required and a good quality rubber mallet - frightening when your bashing the beads next to the glass; thank goodness we opted for toughened glass. The gutters are near impossible to clip into place and we ended up screwing them to the eaves. The automatic opening vents were obviously supplied at a price, possibly a generic make, again the extra brackets and complexity to install was frustrating. However it is now up and looks great as does the quality. Our advise is to pay the £300 and have an expert install it.

Thank you for your valued feedback.
Clearly there is a common theme relating to instructions with a good number of Rhino owners, however we receive far more compliments relating to instructions than we ever do complaints!!
Is one opinion right and the over wrong?
Absolutely not!
Clearly both are correct, as the saying goes “what is one mans pleasure is another mans poison”.
It is the nature of greenhouses that they are not the simplest of structures to construct, and with that instruct.
As manufacturers we pride ourselves on always listening to feedback, and to that end we are undertaking an extensive overhaul of our instructions to appeal to all, including the added benefit of video assistance!
So once again thank you for your feedback, we very much appreciate all constructive critique, after all ideas create change!

Almost universally in these 16 reviews customers complain about the quality of the instructions, yet each time the Rhino team just post an identical stock reply, with no suggestion that they are looking to improve the instructions. I would expect better, and it puts me off buying what seems an otherwise good quality product.

Our apologies if you feel this is a stock answer.
You will note this was posted to answer each individual review with honesty and clarity.
With regard to there being no suggestion of an improvement to the instructions, please look towards the last paragraph;
"As manufacturers we pride ourselves on always listening to feedback, and to that end we are undertaking an extensive overhaul of our instructions to appeal to all, including the added benefit of video assistance!"
Again to give a wholey balance picture, please do have a look at the Which? article and also the Feefo reviews that we have introduced in December 2013 to gain valuable insight to our customers total experience.
Should you still be in the market for a greenhouse, please do look at the Rhino, we're sure you will not be disappointed.
Thank you for your interest.
