I Think La Clique Is A Brilliant Show And Very Ent
I think La Clique is a brilliant show and very entertaining. We managed to see it in London after failing to get tickets to see it at the Edinburgh festival (it sells out very quickly).
It is a heady mix of burlesque, cabaret and circus performance - have to say not the kind of thing I usually go to see but we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Some very skilled contortionists, acrobats, puppeteers, comedians and all of the ladies loved the 'bloke in the bath', who swings about on ropes attached to the ceiling.
Would definitely recommend seeing this show, although you have to be prepared for the rather risque aspect!

I Was Lucky Enough To Win Tickets To Go And See La
I was lucky enough to win tickets to go and see La Clique at the London Hippodrome which is right on the corner of Leicester Square. I'm glad I got to visit this historic venue as I understand that it is now to be be demolished. The venue itself is looking a little tired as I bleieve the other reviewer pointed out but it does not detract from the show itself and I have to say retaher adds to the ambience of the evening. La Clique is a show made up of a number of different artists all doing their own thing - so you have the sultry singer, the contortionist who just makes you squirm but you can't help but watch him, the two English gents (who aren't English!) but do a great balancing act, a very pretty lady with her Hula Hoops, a guy spinning madly above our heads in a ring and also the comedian who does unspeakable things with a hankie!
The show is highly entertaining and I hope it finds a new venue in London. If you haven't yet sen it and fancy a different and enteraining evening out, then go and watch La Clique - you won't be disappointed!

Oooh, It's Very Saucy. Not For The Easily Offende
Oooh, it's very saucy. Not for the easily offended but great for those who want a night of decadent / burlesque entertainment. The venue itself is a bit rough at the edges (its based out of the hippodrome) but in a way that adds to the atmosphere. The two guys in bowler hats are brilliant. The balance and strength they have beggars belief. The disappearing handkerchief trick is not for the faint hearted but highly funny nonetheless.I would recommend La Clique to anyone but don't take your mother.
