It Has Been 15 Years Since I Stayed At The Hotel L
It has been 15 years since I stayed at the Hotel Louis II. In planning a trip for a friend I recommended it but just went online and was stunned at the transformation. What was once a lovely lovely very Parisian hotel with floral wallpaper, beautiful antiques and taste has been turned into a modern hotel with no soul. The room where I ate breakfast was charming and the food brought to your table. Now it is some kind of modern nothing with pre-packaged food layed out in a buffet. Why oh why. It's Paris. It should look like Paris. It should be tasteful. It should have soul. My suggestion is that you keep looking for a hotel that will give you the feeling of actually being in Paris.
