Appalling. Do yourself a favour stay at an accredited camp site. They take your money and don't care about the service you get. Complaints are ignored.

My husband and myself booked at Winkups Towyn 16th to the 23rd june, being elderly and not very mobile we thought as Winkups advertised facilities on site such as club with entertainment, daily bingo coffee shop chip shop ect; it would be ideal for us, On the saturday we arrived we went in the club in the evening and there was entertainment on but after that nothing, although it was opened nightly it was in complete silence and empty, the coffee shop was hardly ever opened and the chippy was closed every day that we passed and never open in the evening even though the times stated open daily till 11pm, the place was completly dead ,we came home after 4 days we had enough, when we complained to reception we were told -its because the kids are at school, i also wrote 2 letters of complaint but not one has been acknowleged ,so much for their customer service, if your going it seems you need to book when the kids are off school and heaving dont expect anything going on any other time.

Had a week at Winkups & Primrose Caravan park and stayed in Primrose 37 which was fantastic caravan! highly recommended if you ask for it. The park is really friendly and right in the heart of everything, we had a lovely family holiday, we could sit back and relax if we wanted to as the caravan was nice and peaceful but close to all the facilities, 5 mins to the beach, fun fair, shops, pubs, and the site has a great cabaret club which had good entertainment for everyone including a childrens club. I have booked again and recommended to my family. If you are looking for an all round family holiday with something to suit everyone this is definatley the place.....
