You won't recognise the password I have - the number you give to get a new password includes a hashtag which I cannot insert. It will be a long time before I use John Lewis flowers again. You should make it easier if you want octogenarians to use your service Off to Marks and Spencers

Ordered Flowers for Mothers day 3 weeks early. They were delivered on the right day but the bunch of flowers was tiny and brown around the edges. Comparing what was in the bunch to what should have been there was about 1/4 to 1/3 of the amount of flowers there should have been and some weren't there at all i.e. 7 roses instead of 24, no fresias etc. What arrived was an embarrassment. Have contacted them since but not had a response at all. Thouroughly disappointed as i now doubt that any of my previous orders from them have resulted in them delivering what i'd ordered. They aren't cheap, and i was ordering based upon reputation and the pictures on the site. Wouldn't order flowers from them again, they looked like something the delivery driver picked up from a petrol station.

I brought these for Mother's day had them delivered when she got them they had brown edges, wilted and not fresh at all. I usually get them from other stores but thought i would have abit of a change, thought John lewis would have been superior quality but guess not. I could have got fresher flowers in store instead of buying them from JL. I wrote to them and to date no reply thats just plain rude not to even bother replying to my letter. I think in future I will stick to M&S. My advice as many others have stated stay away from them.

Ordered a bouguet on March 31st for delivery on 2nd April (day before Mothers day) still waiting for flowers. John Lewis seems to have given up on customer service, or even delivering paid for goods !!
Complaint in progress

Buy one bouquet of WILTED FLOWERS from John Lewis, get the second bouguet of WILTED FLOWERS for free. Ordered online March 31 for named day delivery April 1. Chocolates arrived, no flowers. Alerted customer service, got apology and guarantee that "new, fresh" flowers would arrive on Monday April 4. My mother-in-law received the first batch of flowers that had obviously been sitting sans water for 4 days, badly wilted (browning edges on the roses, everything dead-looking) and THEN shortly afterwards another batch of wilted flowers that looked worse than the first ones. Shameful! John Lewis obviously does not stand for quality as they once did.

Never, ever again! Ordered the day before the birthday - not delivered so I phoned them for a refund and the VERY rude man on the phone refused to give me a refund as they were already in the system for delivery over a week later - why would I want them a wee. Rubbish customer service & choice of flowers anyway

Terrible.
Did not deliver on the 'named day' so missed the event.
Delivered the worst quality product late.....a complete mess of wilted flowers, chocolates coated in soil and a discarded fag packet.
AVOID!!!!

I feel I need to balance the scales a little regarding John Lewis Flowers. I've used them several times now, and on each occasion, I have been pleased with the quality of the flowers received by friends and family, whether posted or by next day delivery. Yesterday, I was disappointed to find that a vased bouquet I had sent to an Aunt in a Liverpool hospital, was the cheaper and sparser version of the sunflower fiesta (I had asked for the 50% more blooms at £34). There was nothing wrong with the flowers, but the impact was underwhelming. I contacted John Lewis this morning (Sunday) and the customer service advisor was immediately highly apologetic and sympathetic. She told me that a replacement £34 bouquet would be sent out as soon as possible, but not only that - she told me that a £15 refund as a goodwill gesture would be credited to my visa card. You can't get fairer trade than that! I would certainly use John Lewis again and would recommend them to any of my friends.

TERRIBLE! Similar story to other review - I ordered the Purity plant arrangement for a funeral.
Delivery tracking was unavailable via the HDNL courier website! Finally arrived in a box, no gift packaging- It was upside down, earth/dirt everywhere, flowers/plants squashed under the pot - it's completely ruined + unsalvageable!
Basically we had to rush out to Homebase to get a suitable alternative at short notice!
Complained to John Lewis and received refund, but overall I would NOT recommend this service! Awful disappointment. I'll stick to Next in future.

JOHN LEWIS FLOWERS
Probably the worst service I have used. ordered flowers for a funeral to arrive on a certain day, tried to track on the JL page, status very vague, was emailed some 12 hours after the funeral to be told the flowers were on their way. I rang cust services who said there had been an internal error and that none of their flower orders had gone out that day but not to worry as they were being delivered today! Great, we'll re run the funeral!! I dare say the same poor service from JL will apply to valentines deliveries so unless you want a sad upset cheesed off partner my advice is to find another reliable floral delivery such as Next or M&S
