Rear of headboard finished or not?? We wanted to sit the bed in the middle of the room. Couldnt even tell us!!!!Where do these beds come from ?? The Moon??????....... Don't trust them ...they are probably suppliers of rubbish quality....

We ordered online a childrens blue car racer bed for supposedly delivery the next day. No confirmation email was received and on the delivery date no bed arrived. I phoned 1st4beds to find out when the bed would arrive and the gentleman on the end of the phone abruptly told me it wouldn't. The bed we had ordered was out of stock and they had "emailed" me the previous day to tell us. Rubbish. No email was ever received (yes we checked our junk box!) no alternative bed was offered and they told me it would be back in stock in 6-8 weeks time. I demanded an immediate refund of the £200 they were very quick to take from us. This bed is still showing as available on their website! After looking elsewhere for this same bed we contacted the supplier directly to check stock levels. This bed has actually been discontinued and will not be available. Terrible website, terrible customer service.

We ordered the bed over the phone and got them delivered, which took about 3 weeks after a few follow up calls. We got a different base to what we understood was the correct one.After 3 days the sliding doors fell off. When we then phoned to have then replaced for the corrrect bases and tell them they were not the ones we actually wanted on the order, their attitude over the phone defenitly did not make us like a customer but more like trying to make the customer feel stupid. So apart from a fair price,defenitly would not use them again.Buying from a local shop,is still the best way ...

One week after placing an order for headboards and bedside tables for nearly £500, I have had no delivery, no timescale of a delivery online, no e-mail advising of a delivery and contrary to the company promise on the website no one has ever rung me to advise of a delivery date. On ringing the company I spoke to a man who quite frankly had the customer handling skills of a boiled lettuce! I was told someone would ring me - I'm still waiting, This company have not got a clue - avoid it like the plague!!!!

I ordered bunk beds with mattresses from 1st for beds. The bunk beds turned up with only one mattress and when we started to put the bed together it didn't have any fittings. We rang to complain and were told we would get priority delivery before 9.30am for the other mattress. The mattress turned up at 11.30 and when we asked the driver he told us they'd paid for standard deliver and not priority. Overall the service has been terrible and we will not be using them again. They have been happy to take money but have not been prepared to take any responsibility for the poor service they have offered.

bed delivered 2 days late, after chase up call.
slats on bed are not strong enough to take the weight of a 5 year old child sitting on bed.
2 weeks of complaining and still no reply to emails, no return calls to resolve the complaint.
letter of intended legal action now sent to 1st4beds.

Ordered bed and mattress with a specified delivery date. Mattress arrived but bed frame did not. Contacted services who assured me bed frame would arrive before 5pm. It did not turn up.
They attempted to deliver the following day, but as I had allready wasted a day waiting at home for them I instructed them to return bed to supplier.
They do not respond to emails, they do not return calls.
Do not use this company.

I ordered a bed and paid for it, Then I decided that I no longer wished to proceed with my perchase. I asked for a refund and they said that I was unable to have this at first, Then advised me that I could but I had to pay £30.00 when I had called just a few hours later having changed my mind. I had a lengthy dispute with the owner or manager regarding this as I considered this to be rather unfair. However he was very uncopperative and left me with no other choice but to take him to trading standards. I am still waiting for my refund and it is nearly two weeks on.
If you buy from this company then please be careful. Trading standards agreed with me that I am well within my rights to have a full refund. As does not affect my statutory rights under the distence trading act 2000
