Got a Cannon Camberley Double Oven. Main oven is very very slow. So slow I actually had Cannon come to check the cooker because I thought something was wrong with it!!. Temperature in the oven is actually 15 degrees below what is shown, which means turned up full you can only get a maximum of 225. Top oven actually cooks faster then the "main" oven. According to Cannon this performance is "within expected tolerances". The grill is smaller than my last cooker which was 10cm narrower. My old cooker was also 15yrs old but cooked much faster. The colour which they call Sliver is more accurately described as battle ship grey. This is the worst purchase I have made in a very long time..

Me and my sister bought our Camberleys at the same time and on both the knob for the grill/top oven broke. When Cannon sent new knobs the grill/top oven could still not be turned on because it was out of warranty. We were given a free estimate for repair and the repairman said the problem could not be fixed so we never had the use of the grill/top oven. For an expensive cooker with such a good name this was money down the drain stay clear.

An absolute waste of money, we will never ever buy another Cannon oven. Of which we will have to in the near future

I bought the Canon Camberley Double Oven cooker having owned a Canon Canterbury for the ten previous years, and having been extremely impressed with it. However, the Canon Camberley is an entirely different ball game.
I immediately noticed that it was nowhere near as solidly made as the Canterbury. This cooker has needed many service call outs. The holders onto which the control knobs fit have snapped several times. The front of the top oven was continually 'falling open' revealing wadding. This eventually required attention. There was a continuous humming noise when the cooker was first installed - very irritating. This was 'corrected' on several occasions by engineers. One engineer told me he wouldn't touch the cooker with a barge pole - he has a Stoves (says it all)! Now the gas jets on the hob are difficult to light, and some are producing a very low flame. AGAIN I will be having time off work waiting for an engineer.
This cooker was much more expensive than many, and I have been very unhappy with the quality. I would NEVER buy a Canon cooker again.

I bought a Stoves gas cooker and it has had everything possible wrong with it, call outs must have been a dozen and engineers/parts useless. Wish I had rejected it. Be warned.

I think all the problems mentioned should have been taken up with the makers when they continued to go wrong and I would have asked for a replacement.

All the problems you have had should have been taken up with the manufacturers and I would have asked for a replacement when the cooker had gone wrong on the 2/3 time.
