You Cannot Go Wrong With Sony
I decided I needed to come into the 21st century and get a HDTV, mainly because I am a huge basketball fan and wanted to see the finals in high definition. This TV really is a dream. One drawback is that the speakers don't go quite as loud as I want, but then I have a big rec room and when 12-14 guys are shouting at the game then it is probably inevitable that it will get drowned out. Picture quality is crystal clear. I paid extra for Sony because I really wanted clear, crisp images of fast paced action and this has been amazing so far – sports, action movies and even video games look significantly better on this TV than anything I have seen before. As long as you do not need sound for a huge area (a problem I hope to solve by getting extra speakers) then this TV is probably one of the best on the market in this price range. You really cannot go wrong with Sony.

A Little Expensive, But Picture Quality Is Great.
a little expensive, but picture quality is great. If I had a tip, it would be to hunt around rather than buy from currys like I did. :)

I Have Owned Lcd Televisions For Over 5 Years And
I have owned LCD televisions for over 5 years and I am replacing a 3 year - 32" Sony Bravia.
Just brought home the 46" XBR9 . Easy to install. It seats in my corner of my living room that has one wall of windows on it and the picture has no glare. The top of the TV is apprx. 54".
