Darren Shan, The Trials of Death (Saga of Darren Shan)

I suggest you read Vampire Mountain before hand and The Vampire Prince afterwards but you could read the whole saga of darren Shan. Gripping from the start, i got hooked to the series through the recent film of Cirque de Freak: The Vampire's Assistant.

The Trials of Death (Saga of Darren Shan) is part of a series, but you should at least read Vampire Mountain before Trials of Death, and read The Vampire Prince after, to conclude that part of the story, otherwise you pick it up half way through. I recommend the entire series to read.
