Maintenance department is a horrible mess. When some maintenance work is to be conducted, you will be notified in the last turn with a minimum amount of info. Got contacted about upcoming electricity-related works. Decided to work from home that day only to learn from the electrician that works entail turning the electricity off for an unspecified period of time, perhaps in the range of 3 hours. Got working from home majorly disrupted for better half of the day, did not get any notice from agents about what is actually going to be undertaken.

I have rented out my flat with Rubicon for the last 6 years and I must say I haven't had any problems.

I guess you only really find out whether a management service is working when something goes wrong. This happened to me recently when I had some structural damage in the flat I rented which was very difficult to manage as I live abroad. Jason who works for Rubicon looked after managing my tenant, helping with the repairs and even getting the damage paid for by my buildings insurance company. To say Jason is organised and professional is an understatement. When speaking with Jason he always has everything under control, he is truly a credit to Rubicon.

As soon as I got my flat repaired Antony from the sales team got my flat re-let within a week and was unrelenting until he found a new tenant. Antony was a great communicator and given his professionalism I knew he'd be able to re-let the flat quickly. Again another credit to Rubicon.

I was very lucky in having Rubicon as the sale agent for the property I was seeking to purchse in spring 2013. All the staff were brilliant, and best of all, the communication was great. I had previously left my details with other agents in the area, expressing an interest in specified properties. If I was selling I certainly wouldn't use them as 9 times out of 10 they never called me back.

The staff were able to assist me by providing background knowledge on the local market and the block itself and were able to field answers to all my questions. As a first time buyer, I probably had more questions than most, but this did not faze them at all.

Overall they were fantastic and remained so from initial expression of interest through to exchange and completion.
