Package did not arrive - post office sent to Peter Hahn (not me) a non-descript photo saying it was delivered only it was not delivered to me! I called and spoke to them. I then received an email on sept 1 saying a refund would be made, this was followed by a personal phone call confirming a refund was being raised. A MONTH later an email from them came which said 'your refund should have been received by now;. Now 2 MONTHS later, many emails (all seemingly received as a standard email is churned out each time, subsequently unanswered) and several phone calls from me to their UK contact no. where I have spoken to charming helpful people who say they will 'accelerate' and 'action' this with their 'Finance Dept'...................still nothing. I also add to the other reviewers who have said orders have been taken for items showing 'in stock' only to later (i.e. perhaps 3 weeks later) be told this item is not in stock, they made a mistake, and they don't know when or if it will be re-stocked. Thereby wasting everyone's time. In brief - this company is a mess to deal with.

I made a very large order. My order went through straight away. The next day I get an email asking me to call with my credit card as it hadn't gone through. I did this. Still no updates or delivery dates. I have called many times and was told the goods would be sent. Today 4 weeks later I receive another email asking for my card details. I have asked for a manager to contact me. Never happened. Stay away from this site if you want your clothes in a decent time. It is like they do not want the business

I returned a pair of trousers on 14th June, 7 weeks ago, because I had ordered a blouse, not trousers. The packing note of course was for the blouse. I have twice sent copies of proof of postage, I have given the ticket number numerous times over the phone, and staff have confirmed that my parcel was received. However, getting the refund has so far proved impossible. I have twice been promised that the refund would be actioned that day, but the finance department so far have not actioned it.

I made an order which was confirmed thanking me for my custom and as I I was reading the email my order was being lovingling packaged and would be on it’s way soon. After 3 weeks I managed to speak to someone in a call centre who told me that they were sold without being in stock and hopefully there would be a return of the item and I could have that. This is the way they operate. Unbelievably poor business practice and to add further insult they sent me a catalogue. As if I would ever order from them again.

Phoned today on receipt of catalogue. Made a list (9 items) and phoned. First 3 items were not available so gave up. This is not the first time this has happened. Will throw the catalogue immediately into the dustbin next time. What a waste of my time! Why send out these catalogues if the items cannot be ordered.

Terrible! Took 8 days to arrive and was the wrong size. Even though the order confirmation had the correct size. The patronising lady on the phone just said “well mistakes do happen” and was rude about it frankly! Wouldn’t bother!

At best the customer service team are rude. Refunds taking in excess of 3 weeks to appear on account. Slow delivery is also an issue.

Was delighted with both the quality and style of the trousers I purchased. I had to return the smaller pair I ordered so contacted customer service for information. They said for me to let them know how much it cost me to return them and they would be happy to reimburse me. I emailed them to say I had returned them, but that as it didn't cost a lot to post them, I didn't require reimbursing. I found their service very polite and helpful

The website has a .co.uk suffix so you imagine operation & stock is in UK. Additionally their website says goods sent via Royal Mail at cost of £4.95. They should make clear goods are from Germany and take considerably longer to arrive than from UK warehouse.

Ordered goods sent to the wrong address after 3 week wait was told goods had been sent to the wrong address and that a courier would collect it the next day and goods would be with me the day after. Nothing arrived phoned them to say I was now going away, no-one would be here to receive the parcel, and I no longer wanted them as they were for my trip. I was told the parcel could not be stopped as it was in transit. I pointed out to them that was their problem as they had not their part of the contract in time. Came back a week later no refund, phoned and was told the goods had been delivered the day before and left with a neighbour, no note through my door from parcel force to that effect, and no neihgbour here had a parcel for me. still no refund, no goods No refund, no goods 1 month after £859.05 was taken out from my credit card, no communication from Peter Hahn just shocking.Endless telephone calls trying to get a refund, customer service all tell you something different and all of it is in the "we can't do", they lie to cover up their mistakes and then want you to jump through hoops to get your money returned The German company really need to change the people in the U.k that facilitate this business.

It is 2023 and I am facing similar problems: no honest responses when I phone, stories changing from one week to the next. I received the goods but had to return most of them and I can't get a refund out of them. Apparently the refunds were made on 11th and 13th May, it is now 21st May and I still have received nothing. The fight goes on. I'll never use them again.

I stupidly ordered from this company for a second time and can only confirm and agree with previous reviewers that the returns refund is much too slow even if they are based abroad. Never Again!

Ordering on the Telephone needed 3 attempts to even get them to pick up. ordered a blazer in 2 sizes, for a special function. Blazers did not arrive in time , although very well made in terms of stitching , neither size was right and colour depth not as in Catalougue, material was really cheap cotton for £150. a real rip off. No retuns instructions,although they said you could return if unsuitable, I rang to ask if they provided a courier return service, NO you have post it and pay for the privilage, It ended up costing me £11.45p as it was £300 in total for 2 jackets, and I didnt want to risk sending it back without insurance. My exsperience is this firm need to get in the real world of technology, even ifthe merchandise comes from Germany,it is only 4-5 hours away or 1-2 hrs by plane,so why does it take 30 days to arrive. If I were you, dont bother.

I ordered a twinset from Peter hahn, and i have to say that it fitted like a dream - I am six feet tall with a long body and the wingspan of a jumbo jet, so that will probably not be your experience. The colour - a navy blue was dull and unlike the shade shown on the website - navy is one of my best colours, but this was a horrible shade - and guess what? after paying £4.95 for delivery I now have to return this at my own expense for their fault! £10 to try on and return a poorly described twin set that cost £49. I rang customer services, but they do not offer free returns. first and last time I shop with them.

However, I happened to mention to my daughter your website she advised not to purchase from you as the reviews were so unbelievely awful!! I have check them out ...terrible. Had the worst customer service experience with the Peter Hahn website. They are utterly rubbish in providing information and keeping you informed and they have the most ridiculously long delivery times (which they fail to mention when you're ordering). First of all I was unable to reach their customer service via telephone. Than I returned an item but they failed to mention on the telephone and on their website that you do not have to pay for insurance on your package as they will cover that (I paid 11 pounds!). I've sent my package with a next day delivery but did't receive a notification they had received my package. After I called their customer service they told me the shoes where sent back to Germany so it could take a while before they were received (not sure how they send their packages as nowadays it shouldn't take more than a couple of days to send something to Germany). They also told me it would take a few weeks for the new shoes to arrive (I asked for a different size). When I told the operator they should mention this to customers on their website but they should at least have mentioned it to me when I called before returning the item. She could only agree. I then send a message to their customer service and did't hear anything. Again, weeks had passed and no word from Peter Hahn so I called again. This time they were waiting for new stock to come in before they could send me my new shoes, but they did receive the ones I sent back. I told them that I expected them to notify me when they'd receive the shoes I've returned and that they'd notify me about the stock issue. Apologies again.... I also asked why I didn't receive an answer to my complaint. Apologies again, they'd look into that. I'm not going to hold my breath on this one.... AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

I have had many run-ins with Peter Hahn, but what has made me cross this time is this: The website CLEARLY said that, although not in stock, the item I wanted would be delivered by 31st July. I even telephoned the company Peter Hahn to check that the website was telling the truth. I was assured that this was correct. Today I have telephoned (now the 5th August) to find out where my item is. I had the wording "might be with you this week", "might not be coming until the middle of September." "We can't be certain of any delivery date." "I think they are having problems getting this item." "Would you like to cancel this order?" All words WERE used. I ordered this item in June, and it is STILL not here. This company will go out of business I predict. The internet is awash with people saying the same thing.

Placed order online for a pair of leather ankle boots for my wife's Xmas present, cost over £200, received e.mail to confirm order & after 3 weeks no delivery. Phoned up customer services to be told no record of order even though it seems that a £20 transaction had been taken out of my account.Told them to forget it so ordered elsewhere.

Ordered a sweater online. After 3-4 weeks and no delivery I started calling and emailing them. They never replied to my emails and on the phone said they would pass on my concerns to customer services. So who answered the phone then? They told me the Post Office had lost my parcel and I had to fill in a disclaimer form and they would resend the parcel. They never resent it. (Not that I believe they ever sent the first one either.) I then said I wanted a refund, by email, and nothing happened. Visa have now refunded me and are investigating directly. Thank goodness I don't have the stress of having to deal with this ineffective company ever ever again. Don't use them - don't risk it.

Exactly the sort of thing that riles me SO much, they can't or won't stick to anything they tell you. The staff on the other end of the telephone all KNOW just how bad the company is, and I can only think that EITHER, they have a huge turn over of staff or they pay them a fortune to stay!

After reading some truly dreadful reviews I gambled and placed an order for a blazer. It arrived 8 days later , adequately packaged and is of excellent quality. I had one communication which informed me it had been dispatched - a progress report would have been good. Although the blazer was expensive the tailoring was superb and the quality of material was good as was the finish. This item was expensive and I only wish I could have purchased something similar in the U.K . I didn't need to return this item so cannot comment perhaps this review might have been different if I had. How about opening a shop in the U.K would save a lot of trouble.

The issue is seldom the quality of the clothes, but the ATROCIOUS length of time you must wait to get the wretched things! Also interested to see that some never do receive their goods, THAT hasn't happened to me YET, but plenty of delays, inordinate waits, and inefficiency in sending out the right size, have ALL happened to me, and when (IF) they do compensate you they seem to think that £10 or £15 (ABSOLUTELY the most) will make you happy again.
