Porto Cristo, Hotel Monteverde

where do i start we arrive at 10.30pm with my elderly mother and 2 children aged 14 and 9 asked if there was anything to eat and was just told no. we went to our room to find we had 4 beds squashed together no room to move whats so ever. the food was terrible we had to eat out every day. back to the pool sunbeds well at my last count there was about 15 for a hotel that was fully booked. i never saw anyone apart from myself clean the pool it was dirty although i did see them throw some chemicals in but that was it. the bins by the pool were full and not been done for days. the bar staff were very rude long queues at some you was waiting 30mins even if there was 2 people behind the bar still only one would serve while the other one washed up and then they would only serve one drink so by the time you got a drink it was time to get in the queue again. i havent got one good thing to say about this hotel. my advise is dont go there and if you have booked try and change it. i have made a complaint upon arrival home

we have returned from this hotel, and its been hell, we was treated like yobs, the food was RAW and when we complained the staff just lauhed, the staff was fightening between them and hitting out at holiday makers for no reason, the alcohol was watered down, we have never stayed any where like it and have reported them to the bristish consult in majorca, we had worked all year for our holiday and felt that this was the worst one we have ever had, we made friends with others who had small children who was made to feel like criminals , mind you we all was we wish we had known before we left and will be taking this further

Hotel is been run down looks good from the outside and thats as good as it gets. There is no air con the food is served in the hotel next door also no air con,The food is not presented well looks terrible taste ok have, the pool is small only 18 sun loungers for 180 rooms,Fire doors were locked to stop people taking drinks up to rooms, bar service poor we and most other holiday makers ate and drank out, this is the worst holiday hotel I have ever stayed at wouldnt recomed it to anyone stay away.
