I have been watching www.kumbooka.com develop fast over the past few weeks and it really has far more appeal than just giving gifts, although the ability to create wish lists is great for close family and friends to know what they really want for birthday or Christmas presents etc. I think the profiling of someone and their ' stuff ' is great, especially when linked to reviews, as you get a much better feel for whether someone is really keen and knowledgeable about something and the ranking of reviewers is better than I have seen on many sites. The social aspect of the site makes it easy to chat to someone about part of their collection before making a buying decision.
