Charley Boorman, By Any Means. Well its a good enough idea, the camera works good except for the use of the camera diary which Boorman seems to be addicted to. Russ his companion is good. We learn absolutely nothing about anything or very little whether its the mode of transport or the places, its watchable only from the viewpoint that you hope you will glean something in the next shot, but. ...... eye candy. Boorman's commentary consists mainly of "cor!, its mad, its fantastic, brilliant, cor this is mad etc." This is not a travel (i'm reviewing the DVD here) documentary in the classical style. I'd be frightened to buy the book.
