Miele Cat & Dog Plus

Have just bought this vacuum after having 2 disastrous experiences with Dysons, the last one being the Dyson Animal. We have a German Shepherd and 2 cats so lots of fur and we need to vacuum regularly. This Miele is top class. You can actually SEE where the carpet has been vacuumed because of the suction. It is also dust-tight as yes, you have to buy bags which are not cheap, but are worth the money in my opinion as they have 7 layers and HEPA filter to stop the dust going anywhere other than staying in the bag. It even seals itself when you remove the bag. I love the accessibility of the tools and also that the on/off switch is at the top of the handle together with the carpet/floor setting switch. It also has different settings for deep pile, smooth carpet, floor, etc. I wish I had swapped my Dyson for this a long time ago. This is well worth the money!
