I Have Very Pale Skin And I Find A Lot Of Foundati

I have very pale skin and i find a lot of foundation brands have shades that are too dark for me.I decided to use Max Factor miracle touch foundation just out of curiosity.I decided to try the shade 'creamy ivory'.I found the pakaging quite complex:i found it hard to open the compartment where the sponge is stored(quite stiff to open).

I have a lot of redness in my cheeks and max factor miracle touch gives such an amazing coverage-i've had loads of compliments! I am aware that the foundation is provided with a sponge but i prefer to use a foundation brush;it gives a better coverage. With this, unlike a lot of foundation that i have tried, the foundation is buildable so you can create the coverage you want without taking layers of foundation of the skin.

However, you don't get £12.99(got it fom Boots) worth of foundation.I use foundation on a daily basis and after a week, the container was empty.I can afford to spend £12.99 on foundation but it all adds up though-by buying other products e.g eyeshadow, mascara etc.

I would buy this product again though.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation -

Max Factor Miracle Touch foundation -

I have an extremely sensitive skin that reacts to almost anything. I only use a few products, and even products by specialised hypoallergenic brands like Avene, Clinique or Vichy can make my skin break out.

This foundation never gave me any problems, the sponge makes it easy to apply and the packaging easy to take with me when traveling (which I do often).

As it's a cream it doesn't fly away like powders do, and as it's not a liquid I can carry it in my hand baggage without having to put it in a clear plastic bag at the airport..sorry, but it becomes important if traveling all the time :) )

It gives me good coverage, natural finish and colour matches my light skin (I use creamy ivory).

I use it as a concealer as well (for acne and under eye area), works best if you tap it with the edge of the sponge.

I have been using it since it came on the market.

bad points: if skin too dry (winter or allergies) then it doesn't work as well, but this is rarely my problem (my skin is fairly oily). also, I do use it up quite quickly, so not a cheap foundation, but then - it works for me as rarely anything does and so the price is fine.

First Thoughts; This Foundation Is Very Expensive!

First thoughts; this foundation is very expensive! It cost around £13.99 from Boots, so I was expecting a lot! It gives good coverage, but when reapplying it the sponge tends to wipe off the first layer.

It gives a good, even, colour, and Max Factor do a good range of shades for us pale girls!

The big, big problem with this is how fast it runs out, especially when it costs so much in the first place! I've used this for about three weeks, and I'm approximately 1/2 of the way through, which is pretty infuriating!

In summary, this foundation is fine if you've already bought/been bought it, but I definitely wouldn't buy it again - it's just not good enough to pay £14 every 6 weeks!
