Shoot The Designer With A Cannon
jesus christ, I hate this spastic click thing where you click on a folder and that stupid things 'flashes' it around the screen and puts it elsewhere, and you then have to click the stupid thing again....whoever designed that must be braindead
Great
The Microsoft win7 was one of the great operating system.i like it
Not That Great
I wasn't expecting to much difference from it's predecessor Windows Vista but the changes were mostly good like the bottom bar which you can pin things onto (I think this was updated from a newer version of Windows vista) but I think that that windows seems to take up more RAM which with a la
Windows 7 Or 8 And Microsoft Products Isn't For Everyone.
I have had Windows 7 and 8 during beta-testing and since they came on the market. To me they have a lot of great features but also are somewhat bloated and run poorly on low end desktops and laptops since its release to the consumer. I found that many Linux based systems like Zorin, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Linux Mint, etc. run smoother and there is less need for extra anti-virus or anti-malware programs to protect just the operating system. These extra programs can also run into a lot of money over the years. Also the price of these operating systems, word processing programs etc. is completely ridicules. It would be nice if someone like Microsoft or Apple would be completely honest with the consumer. Of course consumers and technicians like me are getting wiser and aren't afraid to share with others. Also it isn't necessary to jack up the price of a computer when it costs less to build your own these days.

Piracy Pirates!
Dear colleagues,
if you have been recently deceived by an individual who sold you a pc / laptop with Microsoft Windows and it turned out to be counterfeit, do NOT send to Microsoft piracy centre in Ireland!!
I sent EVERY piece of information they asked for on their website.
They made me wait an entire month before telling me they require the original key code. This would only be found within the counterfeit version of Windows on the laptop I purchased.
Of course after an entire MONTH, one reloads Windows XP on the laptop, as It's useless otherwise ( it was a present for my father, who immediately saw the 'Counterfeit software' messages popping up and freaked out).
NOW they want the code, now it's been over-written.
Microsoft Piracy REFUSE to send out a replacement version of Windows 7 - I am now out of pocket by £40, plus the time, effort and expense of sending the Windows 7 disk back to them in Ireland.
But that's not all! I get an email today stating that if I'd held onto the software, I could have called Microsoft and got a VALID CODE!!!!!
I will never purchase your software again. I'll just copy it for free.
Good But Bad
It was good but it froze and i had quite a bit of trouble with it. It never did what I wanted it to do and it always opened up windows when i clicked on my page that I was on. I would like it if you would send me a new one because I don't like the one i have its an older version and i am a pro computerist and I think I should have a computer that goes as fast as my mind it so slow and it took me 30 minutes just to write this.
Operating System Means - Windows 7
I have been using Windows XP for many years and switched to Windows 7 on 2010 itself. I had no issues while switching to Windows 7 and I loved it as soon as I started using it. It is simply the best. Faster bootup and the new task switching features are fantabulous.
It's Better Than Windows 8 Or Vista
since windows 7 came out loads of people still like it more than any other operating system.
Microsoft came out with windows 8 but it was a massive fail compared to windows 7, it even out beats the mistake they called vista.
windows 7 at the moment is the best operating system going
Waste Of Money
do not get a windows 7 computer they are the worst things on the planet, they are a rip off, they lack too many features, they are slow, terrible for storing music, administrators are a stupid idea, they are complicating to use no photo storage, you can not do anything personal on them, the advert said it was good, they were wrong, bad charging, they are big and chunky, i cannot get internet from 5 meters away but i can get it from the whole way around the house with my mac, they take a long time to log on, they break easily, terrible display, terrible on screen design, not much thought put into it, hard to customize, windows 7.5 and 8 are great but windows 7 is poor, no disc drive on my laptop, the opposite of what the advert says, do not buy this software.

Absolute Rip Off. You Are Paying For A Gui, That Is All
Whoever thinks £70 for an operating system is a fair price is bonkers. £70 covers one license for one computer. If you're computer breaks and you need to get a new one, you need to get a new version of Windows 7 at £70 too.
And there are so many other things about Windows 7 that are just downright annoying. Here's some:
- Windows 7 continuously uses up some of your bandwidth to export usage statistics and other personal information away to their central databases. This is creepy.
- When you create a user who you think is an administrator, it is not actually a true administrator like on XP. No, there is a super secret administrator on your computer. I probably sound tin foil hat man by now so I'll write down the steps to unlocking it to prove I'm not.
1. Press start and type in command prompt.
2. Right-click on the command prompt program option and click 'Run as administrator'.
3. Type into command prompt the following, letter for letter:
net user administrator /active:yes
4. After seeing a successful message, close command prompt and then log out of Windows.
5. Voila. There is a new user on your accounts page, the true Administrator to your computer. This Administrator has all the rights to your computer that the other Administrator accounts you created should have.
- Windows 7 automatically assumes you are thick as pig excrement. Every feature in Windows 7 is designed for a toddler who has no clue about how to use a computer. It becomes beyond frustrating when you have to use Windows 7 for your day job and time and time again, you are treated as toddler by a machine. The UAC (User Account Control) pop up which appears on every program is one of the main irritations here.
Saying all that though, the GUI of Windows 7 is fantastic (so long as you use small icons on desktop and taskbar). In my opinion, you are paying £70 for a fantastic GUI and not much else.
