Lysithea Beach Hotel

Lysithea Beach Hotel apartments Larnaca, Cyprus. 20 minutes from Larnaca airport. On arrival we noted how clean and fresh smelling the rooms were. We had a one bedroom apartment and a Studio apartment. Basic rooms but everything you needed. We paid 5 euro a day for air conditioning, we were there in June and you do need it. The owner of this family run Hotel introduced himself and welcomed us giving us drinks on the house. The food was of good quality and big portions, we ate there a few times, excellent value for money. Local bars in walking distance, more bars a 7 euro taxi ride away. CTO beach directly across the road, safe and shallow for children. Not ideal for snorkelling not enough sealife, if that's your thing visit Protaras beaches amazing sealife right up to the shoreline. We visited all over the island, staying in a couple of different hotels overnight on a couple of occasions, and we couldn't wait to get back to our beds at the Lysithea. Pool is cleaned in the mornings, gardens maintained every day, rooms serviced daily. No Tv and no room Safes, however, reception has a safe if you require anything locked up at a cost of 2 euro daily. WIFI available at this hotel, worked better outdoors and at the bar and pool area. We loved our stay here, it is suited to a quieter pace of holiday, and is a quiet hotel. if you want party party party protaras, napa, paphos is where to go, if you want good food, a relaxed base, on the beach holiday, then this is ideal. 15 minute drive to Larnaca Phinikoudes. Bus hourly across th road, 3 Euro to the airport! Local shop on the doorstep, loved it. We want to book up for 2015.
