I have Federal SS595 245/40/ZR18 93W fitted to my XR8, Has anyone experienced deep splits on the inner sidewalls up to six inches and as deep as the polyester as this has happend to three of my tyres, before any rotation and less than 25,000 and 18 mths old, Can anyone help me with trying to contact Fedral tyres Australia, as I cant seem to find a customer service number or email
I have the same problem on a set of 595 tyres fitted to the front of my BA ute
Tyre fitter said they have had at least 3 instances of this happening with 595 tyres with Manufacture year of "09" and tell me Neta Tyres(Federal distributor) will not do a claim on these, Tyre fitter told me they had a set with just 5000klms split and Neta only refunded 20% of the cost.

A quick Google will show up plenty of evidence of this model tyre having problems and not just in Australia,
