I had the big ben charm for my 21st from my fiancé. I wore it for a week and then was sat at work and watched the big ben drop off the clasp. Also I had a key from my mum as a 21st present and luckily that is still in tact but I wish she had chosen a different jewellers now as I wanted to build a charm bracelet up but doubt thats going to happen now. Such a shame as they are really pretty but just not strong enough to wear all the time. You would have to keep it in a box and never wear it, if you wanted to keep it for anything longer than a month.

Like more people on the same reviews 2 of my charms have broken at the clasp. However a solution to all those people out there who have their charms chilling in a pot when they could be flashing them to the rest of the world. My friend went to a jewellers where they sold the Thomas Sabo bracelets and found that you can have the charms fused onto the bracelet. I know it ruins the point of having the charms in the first place however its better than loosing a whole lot of money and it is the route I intend to go down.

my parents gave me a silver link bracelet with three charms on it for my birthday, less then a week ago. Today, i went to show a friend and noticed (with great despair) that my crab charm had broken off and was missing. I am not impressed. These charms are expensive, and sterling silver should be more hardy then that. I did not catch the charm on anything, and though i was wearing the bracelet day to day, i certainly was not rough with it. I love the designs and the bracelet itself is very solid, but my advice would be careful which charms you buy- look for more solid shapes, as my crab was attached to the link by one little fine leg.

Love the designs but all three charms I bought have broken at the clasp and one of those was taken back and replaced so that equates to four charms broken in total. I have just used small plyers to squeeze the lobster clasps together so they stay but it seems to me that the charms are too heavy for the lobster clasps used and are pulling them too much. I have bought two chorded bracelets for my charms and both have worn very quickly and the knots are coming undone. So all in all not very impressed I'm afraid.
