Hope Valley, Losehill House Hotel & Spa

A group of us went for a day spa. The manicure and pedicure turned out to be nail varnishing sessions. The outdoor jacuzzi, whilst a lovely idea, is situated under the extractor fan for the kitchens, you come out smelling like a chip ( tip ...avoid meal times) The lunch was fine but the service was flakey. You had no confidence that your order was actually on its way,that it would arrive without being spilt, that he wine would arrive before the main course did. Young staff obviously need training but they should be supervised by someone with real restaurant experience. The swimming pool is compact , adequate for the four of us. Two more would have been crowded.
