Edinburgh, 16 Waterloo Place

16 Waterloo Place has just opened and looks amazing. The price we paid (over £200 a night) would have got us a good room in a hotel. There were only 2 of us but the apartment could have slept 6 with 2 double bedrooms and a sofa bed. There are loads of bars and good eating places close by so the lack of them in Waterloo Place isn't that much of a bad point but it would be nice to have the option all the same. I've never stayed in serviced apartments before but after this I'll be very willing to try them again, and if there are a few of you it's a no brainer, much cheaper than multiple hotel rooms.
