ATS Euromaster, Richmond, Surrey

ATS Euromaster in Richmond, Surrey, replaced two front tyres and adjusted the wheel alignment on my car while I finished my shopping. They gave me a 10% 'over 60's' discount on the tyres.

However, when initially choosing tyre brand, they quoted apparently high prices - it was only on paying that I saw they had given the total for the two tyres, not per tyre as I had asked (I would have chosen a better brand had this been clear!).

The final bill was badly laid-out and my card number written in full - not good practice. The advertised 10% discount only applies to tyres but this was not mentioned in the advert nor by the staff until queried. No paper was put over the carpet on the driver's side which was left with a black stain which I found later.
