Once You Go Mac You Will Never Go Back
Absolutely magnificent! Fast, beautiful graphics, great connectivity and all the elegance traditionally attributed to apple products. So glad I upgraded from my old laptop.

After I Have Changed 3 Laptops For Several Reasons
After I have changed 3 laptops for several reasons in a year I decided to go for a quality laptop. Mac Book was my first choice since I had been using iPhone for 2 years and was over satisfied with it. I find out that I made a perfect decision from the first day I started to use it. Now it has been more than 6 months I have been using it and I didnt had a single problem. The price is definitely worth it-

After More Than 30 Years With Ibm During Which Tim
After more than 30 years with IBM during which time I've used almost every derivative of PC since its inception, I can honestly say the most accomplished home computing product on the market is the MACbook.
If you're buying for business, you might choose to compromise and buy a Microsoft based machine, but for predominantly home or college/university use, I don't believe you can beat a MAC.
My decision to buy a MACbook wasn't so much driven by the hardware, but by the software. Such a blessed relief to leave behind the ominous blue screens of death, the never ending stream of security updates and the rip-off costs of Operating System upgrades from Microsoft, effectively to address shortcomings in the previous versions. MAC OS, in this case Snow Leopard, is way ahead of MS in terms of capability, stability and innovation. MS will always be at least one step behind.
My only criticisms of the Intel based hardware of my MACbook are aimed at the tendency for the keyboard surround edge to break away like eggshell and the exorbitant cost of external power supplies and rechargeable batteries. But it may well be just as expensive to buy such items for another manufacturers laptop computer. The only other problem I encountered was when I inadvertently inserted a blank DVD along with a clear disk from the bottom of a 100 disc spindle. No problem for a tray loading drive but not to be recommended when using a letterbox drive such as that on a MAC.
On the plus side and this is a big plus, better that ninety percent of the software I use has typically been open source and consequently, free of charge, including fully featured Office Suites such as Symphony from IBM and NeoOffice. So many individuals overlook the additional cost of their software when deciding what computer to buy.
What better endorsement can I give this product than to suggest the only thing better would be the MACbook PRO model or if you don't need portability, the stunning MAC desktop? Both of which are as eminently practical as they are aesthetically pleasing on the eye.

I dropped my Macbook last Dec and cracked the screen and was managed to picked up last year's top Macbook a week later for $900 Canadian. They cleared out them for the new models.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the product. I LOVE IT.
It is pretty to look at. Easy to use. The operating system is very easy to use. Window sucks big time as compared to it.

I've lived with my Apple Macbook for the last 2 years and (fingers crossed) it has been extremely reliable. Unlike anything window's based it doesn't suffer from viruses. What's great about my Apple Macbook:DesignMac OS software is almost bullet proofSpacing of the keys makes it easy to use even if you have sausages for fingersLack of virusesWhat's not so great about my Apple Macbook:Price - it's very expensive compared to similar spec'd laptopsThe build quality is not what it was. The casing is cracked!I do like OS but there are still compatabilty issue

Mine is a 120gb (I think! It may be a 160 sorry for not knowing). It has a four hour battery and a 13inch screen, the camera and microphone are built in. The power point is magnetic which means it doesn't come out very easily. The touch pad is smooth and easy. There is an easy voice command unit to use and plenty of applications to activate. It is compatible with several windows applications-word (mac version Pages) PowerPoint(Mac version Keynote) and Excel(Mac version Numbers) and files can be easily transfered. The Pages and Keynote and Numbers applications have to be bought in one package-I work. Things can be copied off the net easily and updates are also easy to install.Hope this has helped!
