Kettering, Wicksteed Park

Our party of 9 booked a 2 night stay camping in july 2014.

Overall, we had a good time. There was plenty of space and the theme park kept the kids happy for a few hours.

However, the campsite facilites were discusting. The toilets cubicles were smeared with excrement, and it was even on the floor of the cubicle.

Upon leaving, I went in search of the chemical toilet disposal point...which was just an open grate with a tap in the actual camping field. There were young children playing in it, and it was fully blocked with excrement floating in it.

For the amount of money that the park is taking, I find the level of facilities totally unacceptable, which is a great shame, as the rest of the park was lovely.

It makes you wonder what some peoples houses must be like when they can make such a discusting mess. I do genuinely feel sorry for the cleaner...although by the looks of it, he/she has probably given up...I dont blame them.

good park, but dont pay to park in it,find a side street.lots of free stuff but get a wristband offer.buy one get one free etc, food is nt healthy but fast food and a busy bar which is understaffed at peak times. we stayed about 6 hours so is a proper day out.yes its a bit dated and suitable for kids over 0.9 metre, do go its fun. nice .
