“Avoid!!!”

I ordered a pair of shoes and was sent the incorrect item. When I contacted customer service I was told I could always return the shoes, which I did. However, I was charged for the return on an item I did not order. When I contacted customer service again and spoke to an agent who seemed to have an attitude telling me we were going round in circles and for that reason she would terminate the call. All I wanted was the correct shoes or a full refund to reorder the correct shoes.

Need to open the Runcorn shop again a lot off people miss it we don't have any shoe shops in Runcorn We have to travel out of Runcorn to get shoes

“Bad customer service”

I Just been to the Oldham branch, i buy school shoes for my 3 boys and usually need 3 pairs every term, and like today my 9 year old has need new pair because hes broken them. The shoes are not that great just like asda and Tesco qualify, but it is covineint to get them quick. My complaint is about the staff, there is three ladies working in Oldham branch, one is the manager. There were no other customers in the store, and you would think, they would give a customer some attention automatically and do their job, what is even more surprising is that one is the manager. I looked at them for about 5 minutes trying to get there attention, but it was hopeless so i had to asks, they all gave me a stare as if i had done something wrong or been rude to interrupt their conversation. Then one of them came and told me that the size was not available, and went back to chat. Then i was looking for another style and couldn't find the size. Again i couldn't get there attention and had to interrupt them and ask for the size and the chubby one instead of comming over shouted from behind the counter across the shop which is anout 5 meters away, that "we only got whats there and if we havent you have to order it". I said you havent even helped me to look for it, then the manager walked away as if she was disgusted and the other lady came and found the size i couldn't find. I paid for the shoes and told them i would complain about their behavior to head office and give them bad reviews, they never apologised and just shrugged. I know there are cctv cameras, and hopefully head office can look in to this. I am looking for no compitition, i collect their loyalty discount stamps but i will never shop at wynsors again.p

“Poor Customer Service Poor Quality Shoes”

I ordered a pair of size 5 shoes for my Mum. The shoes that were delivered were labelled size 5 but were a size 4 at best. Not just slightly too small, far too small. When I returned them I requested that the postage not be deducted from the refund as the shoes were not fit for purpose, but they deducted it anyway. Obviously do not care that the fault was their end.

“Trainers are fakes!!!!!”

Ordered a pair of adidas trainers which are 100% fake they didnt even come in a box just wrapped in clingfilm..the adidas logo was stuck on uneven..pile of crap!!!!

“Trainers falling apart after a couple of months ..”

I bough adidas gazelle trainers a couple of months ago getting them £15 cheaper than other shops but the fixing is peeling away badly and I get small things inside the heel section when I'm out walking .. Small stones mostly .. Haven't bothered trying to return them .. Wouldn't recommend the shop now I would rather have paid the normal price elsewhere and had the trainers longer .. I know i would be fobbed off and don't want to waste my time .. So thanks for the inferior quality trainers .. Trainers I buy when needed after at least a year

“Rip-off Returns Policy!”

I bought some shoes from Wynsors for my 14 year old son who has faily wide feet so trying to find shoes can be particularly hard. They arrived in good time but as I have found a lot lately they didn't fit his size 10 feet, so I needed to return them. I read Wynsors terms and conditions which states that if I were to use their supplied label then it would cost me £2.99 deducted from my refund. Instead I used my own label and paid for the return. I sent my son to the post office with the parcel asking him to get proof of postage which of course he didn't get. The returned shoes got to Wynsors and I was refunded minus the £2.99. When I contacted customer support I was told according to their paperwork I had used the returns label which of course I hadn't. I told them if they had checked their paperwork they would have seen the un-used returns label inside the package still stuck to the reason for returning sheet. I have not heard back from them since and without that vital proof of postage can do nothing. I will never use the company again and will make sure all my friends and family are aware of there terrible customer service!

“RETURNS A JOKE”

Returned a pair of boots that had split after just over 5 months to be told nothing they could do as they were 6 months old and had wear but could have a small discount if I purchased something else. Contacted head office customer care to be told if I was not satisfied with branch decision I could send boots to head office (At my own expense)to be examined for a manufacturers fault, if a fault was found I could have a replacement if no fault was found they would return the boots with a letter of explanation...WHAT A JOKE

“US Brass Boots”

Bought a pair of US Brass boots about 8 weeks ago. They have always felt hard and rigid at the heel and I did not think too much about it until 2 days ago when it rained they leaked and my feet got wet. On checking I noticed that the Heel on one boot had come unstuck and had exposed the way the boot is made. When you look at the boot the sole and heel look like solid rubber with a reasonable tread but the truth is that the heel section is made of plywood and the whole base of the shoe is covered in a very thin layer of rubber. When quizzed I was told you wear them and they wear out. What in 8 weeks ? I drive a van for a living I dont work on a building site. They are absolutely not interested in resolving the issue amicably.So I'm left with a pair of US US Brass Boots. Maybe they'll look better on facebook.

“HORRIBLE SERVICE”

Bought some shoes from the halifax store. I wore them for 10 minutes in the house and they gave me really bad blisters. Took them back for exchange with something similar - got refused. Also, when asked for assistance by a worker, didn't get any help but just 'cba' faces HORRENDOUS

“Shocking”

no customer service given what so ever, staff stood taking amongst themselves. Been in a few times and always the same, won't be going back again.

“Poor quality goods and pathetic service”

I recently bought a pair of Hi-Tech Keswick Wp walking boots from Wynsors, unfortunately there is a design flaw. Because the lace eyes and guides are made of metal, they fray the laces and very shortly destroy the laces. I brought this problem to their attention and the initial reaction was good they sent a pair of laces but they only lasted a few weeks, so after 3 months the boots have destroyed 3 pairs of laces. I sent photos of the laces and where they had been frayed, they submitted this to their "quality control" (questionable at best) and they stated there was not a design fault and as far as they were concerned no further action could be taken. SO BEWARE WYNSORS, ARE IN MY OPINION, ANOTHER ORGANISATION THAT IS QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT PATHETIC AFTER THAT. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!

Unfortunately on this occasion the product purchased was not found to have a manufacturing fault. Wynsors have sold high volumes of this particular style without any similar issues which has been highlighted in the review as a design flaw. Replacement laces were sent out as a goodwill gesture initially, however this was not an offer that could be continually repeated.

“The use of a Boot”

I bought a pair of men's Rockstorm Skippers on line @ £18, I could not believe how economical they were and I had read customer reviews first, most had high praise. Soft leather uppers and a good solid rubber sole, but on complaining I was told they were not specified as water repellent or waterproof, but why produce a boot if they are not, these are purely decorative and of no practical as a boot. (the waterproof boots carry a different name and specify waterproof) so I should have read the information more carefully I only used them for taking my small dog on a twice a day walk in the local Forsestry Commission plantation on unmade tracks and pathways but in 8 months with no heavy use they were letting in water, so as a boot they are in my opinion not fit for purpose. Disco dancing, going to school or even posing for a fashion photo OK but not for conditions a boot is supposed to withstand.

Unfortunately the Skipper style in question is sold as a fashion boot and is not designed for heavy duty use and is not sold as waterproof, however if the product has a sole fault or the upper is coming away from the feather line and letting in water this would be considered as a fault. We would advise customers with such issues to return goods for inspection and for the goods to be tested and if found to have a genuine manufacturing fault a replacement or refund would be offered.

“Utter Rubbish”

I purchsed 2 pairs of School shoes for my daughter and son, within 2 weeks boths pairs were totally ruined. I took photos and sent them to Wynsors who said it wasnt a quality issue .....seriously after 2 weeks wear!!!! Would not even consider looking at this company, total waste of money.

Wynsors do have Quality Control procedures in place, goods found to have a manufacturing fault are replaced or refunded. All faults are logged and if a particular style has a high return percentage the product would be recalled and removed from sale. Goods which have been subject to unfair treatment and wear & tear would unfortunately not be eligible for return.

“waste of money ”

the service is the worst, i brought a pair of shoes that i wore for around an hour and the back of my heels on my feet had huge blisters n bleed so badly my whole sock was covered in blood. after going back to the store the manager told me i wore them outside and he cant resell them as they already worn out, yet i only wore them for 1 hour, also i wore them outside and they didnt accept them cos i wore them outside!! where else do you wear shoes if not outside!! they sold me a pair of shoes that after one hour were already worn out. Its not my falut that the shoes hurt so badly and are made from materials that ruin after an hour so the store should have reclaimed them to the manufactuer sayin they were made badly and are not good enough to sell however i was only treated badly by the manager of the store.. i will be never shoppin there again and highly discourage people to shop there as the shoes are really poor quality and the service is literally taking a mick, to their information shoes are broguht to be worn outside!!

We are sorry to hear of the issues experienced with footwear purchased from Wynsors. Goods believed to be faulty can be returned for inspection and if a manufacturing fault is found customers would be offered a replacement or refund. Unfortunately fit issues would not be considered to be a manufacturing fault, we would advise customers to try goods indoors to check for comfort and fit before wearing outside, goods returned in an un-worn resalable state would be eligible for refund.

“cheap and nasty”

I purchased 2 pair of branded shoes (Hush Puppys)(probably Fake) size 9 through Amazon from this company on the Monday, arrived Friday.Could not get my feet in them far to narrow and to small.One pair looked as if they had been worn and had a black scuff mark along one side.As a potential custeomer they dont seem to care about there business this should have been checked before leaving the shop.Now being sent back along with a letter.

i had purchased a pair of walking boots that the rubber wore of the soles withing a month from wynsors and they said it was wear and tear the qa service was very poor will never use them again,

We can assure customers that we do not sell fakes and only sell genuine branded goods, Wynsors is an authorised Hush Puppies retailer. Goods are checked before dispatch, if a product has been received in this condition we can only apologise that this has been missed and is simply down to human error. Faulty/damaged goods can be returned at no cost to our customers using our pre-paid returns label for replacement or refund.
