Although paid membership is needed to contact other members, this seems to have encouraged a much better quality of member in my opinion, i.e. people who are honest, rather than those who lie about themselves. - something I've experienced with sites that offer free trials.

It appears to be run by a couple that originally met online, so that might class as a good point, but not sure.
