Pearl Vision VBX

Very nice set for the price, get this set over a beginner kit. Change the heads right away or practice then put on new heads and tune. Properly tuned this set is awesome. I have the 20 inch bass drum..dont discount it..plenty of thump...remo powerstroke3 on the reso with a kickport, Aquarian super kick II on the batter...what can I say thump, thump, thump! Only thing I dont like is the snare...hard to tune to get the sound I want..even with several head and snare changes...so I use my 68 Ludwig ..I would recommend this set to anyone with a budget...its a beautiful set.

I currently own a pearl vision VBX (10", 12", 13" 14" 16" toms), 22x18" bass drum and a 14x5.5 sensitone snare drum.

I would sure love to get into all the technical stuff, but really, who wants to read that? haha.

So here, 100% BIRCH SHELLS, lacquer finishes, free 900 series hardware, amazing steel snare. All for under $1200 CAD for a 5 piece.

I've got my Pearl Vision VBX kit last month, it's a 22, 10, 12, 14, 16, black ice. I'm a beginner so I don't have many technical comments to post, but I can say that I'm very excited with my kit. It is very beautifull, it sounds great and is very well constructed. I think it was the best choice in terms of money value.

Very good finish. Extremely hard, easy to turn and beautiful hardware. Good sound. Every single and litle detail of the kit is well constructed and projected.

It is not a proper bad point, but power hoops would be a plus.

I have done my homework on them and have played the Pearl VBX Series and they are definitely worth checking out. I did and now have the Concorde Fade VBX coming in on order for me as a 7 piece kit, been waiting now for 4 months, ouch! lol, lol...
