Paying less than 200 GBP this Ibanez SR300 is way nicer than any of the Squiers, stays in tune and plays nicely. Obviously it's not a Rickenbacker, but as a guitar player who needed a bass for recording and occasional jamming, this was the best buy. Cheap(ish) for a good bass. Looks sharp, nice fast fretboard and decent tonal range from p-bass to j-bass. For the money there aren't any bad points
