COD 5 World at War for me is entirely new world of COD... if you ever played COD 4(Modern Warfare) the plot is very different. Instead of providing a good sequel... COD 5 was situated during world war II.
I love the graphics and the gameplay... main characters are still there.

All in all you won't get frustrated at all with COD 5. Its one of the best games out there.

The Call of Duty 5 (CoD5): World at War game could be better and i expected it to be much better, anyway the game is still Awsome. Having come directly from COD4, I didn't like this game very much at first. Mainly the poor weapons. But I really enjoy the game now. I don't think the single player story was as good was COD4 but the multiplayer is just as good if not better then COD4.

World at War or COD5 has come a long way from its poor incarnation in COD3, the makers last version and inferior to Infinity Wards version. COD5 is a good all round WW2 game with lots of interesting twists. There is one major difference it seems beween this current version and COD4, one that bugs me a little. On sigle player you sometimes come up against a difficult part where you try time and time again to get past a certain point. After a while i wondered why this was. Then i realised that COD5 World at War re spaws the ememy if you dont make progress. E.g. say your storming a house, there are 5 germans inside. you know you have to kill them all, but if you think you can stay outside and just pop em off one by one your mistaken. killing one will just re spawn another. the only way to get through this is to rush in and kill them all quickly. Now with COD5, once you had killed to potentual numbers of ememy in an area that was it.. you were clear and could progress. I find this the better way to play single player as its more realistic. It makes you think how can i take out the ememy easy and quickly. But World at War still has my vote and the on line play is cool too. i cant wait for COD 6 its going to be a real winner.

Call of Duty 5 is not quite as good as cod 4 but hopefully when cod 6 comes it out will combine cod 4 and 5 into a modern warfare but still have the same perks and new game types. Also you can play online co op not only the story mode but against nazi zombies... I would recommend this game if you had the extra cash but wouldnt strain yourself to buy.

Call of Duty 5 (CoD5): World at War has nice graphics, one of the better WW2 combat games. Not as good as the previous game, COD4 was imo much better overall. COD4 had a really good storyline that was fun to play, maybe it was the variety of the missions, but I found myself struggling with COD5, its not that COD5 is a bad game, it isn't, its just that after playing COD4 it seemed like COD5 was lacking somehow.

Call of Duty 5 (CoD5): World at War is stunning, brings back the intesity of older CODs with the added features introduced in COD4. The tanks are a big plus. Highly recommend a rig that can handle it at max.. the added eye candy deepens the already immersive experience. So far my vote for Game of the Year.

Playing on i-7 920 ocd to 4.1 / GTX 285 / p6t deluxe / Fatal1ty Champion -

Call of Duty 5 is the best game of 2009 so far , The gameplay is fantastic Online is fantastic and the fact one of the Sergeants is Jack Bauer from 24 makes it yummy. Aside from my crush this game has some of the best quality from COD 4 and has made them even better. The best game no doubt as it constantly keeps you hooked and wanting to increase levels. Kinda bad point is the fact you don't get a really good perk such as golden weapons but aside from that its a fantastic game. The fact you can get dogs is fantastic as they kill loads , but there annoying when they kill you. The gore is fantastic you can see limbs blown off and mangled corpses on the floor.
Brilliant !!!!

Since it's launch Nov 11th I have yet to get the game to launch Tech support is worthless the refuse to speak on the Phone on level one support. E mail is your only contact . And maybe you get some to give you wrong advice Once a week It has been 5 weeks & waiting still haven't played it yet. Don't waste your money. Because of copyright tissue's Target refuses to refund the money I paid for WAW..

Overall, I think that it could be better. It is not perfect, but it is still a Awsome and Brilliant game. And that you can now get dogs instead of helicopters, and that there is more perks.
And most of the time when you enter a new Prestige Mode you can make a new class. I think that the bad things for CoD: WaW, is that it has gone back to WW2,

I like the weapon attachments, particularly the bayonet. Also the blood and gore was top notch. I did enjoy this game, but only to an extent, therefore I do not recommend Call of Duty 5: World at War.

Great gameplay.. great graphics. Lots of gory death...
Hopefully a patch will emerge soon to fix the unending bugs... Crashes PC lots... keep getting Blue screen.. lots of people saying the same
Graphics although good... ain't as good as COD4.. ie rubbish and bottles and melons all over that you can shoot/stab/move etc..
Well recommend CoD 5.

I like Call of Duty 5: World at War game a lot, I haven't tried the multiplayer yet but the single player is pretty darn good. The Russians I have to say is the best campaign because not that much random nading. Graphics are awesome, freaking hard on veteran, load of guns, being able to set people on fire almost whenever you want, my favourite thing is unlike the other call of duty's this one is BLOODY. It is freaking awesome! I will never get tired of sniping any more because now when I snipe the people I get to watch a little show before the person dies. Overall I think this game is very good and I would so get it. SO GET IT NOW! Well recommend Call of Duty 5: World at War.
