On The Whole, This Was In My Opinion A Fairly Humo
On the whole, this was in my opinion a fairly humourless performance - weak attempts at the 'oh no he isn't; oh yes he is' panto scenarios. I left the theatre feeling disappointed and deflated which is in stark contrast to last year's pantomime at Richmond which was full of humour aimed at both adults and children. This show really needs to work more on including traditional pantomime elements

Peter Pan At Richmond Theatre Was Ok, But For The
Peter Pan at Richmond Theatre was OK, but for the money i was expecting a lot more, i have seen far better shows in sub £10 theatres. The show wasn't very aimed at children, Captain Hook often went off on long monologues, losing my attention... so i can be sure the kids weren't listening either! No character to interact with the kids until half way through act 2.It felt like it was trying to hover half way between being a Christmas show and a Pantomime... unfortunately doing neither very well. The story of Peter Pan wasn't told very well, and the show was far too serious to be a pantomime... very little in the way of audience interaction.Also... who lit it?! A purple camouflage ship in the daytime... OK! Really quiet too, Bonny Langford got people to clap along, when you did there was no chance of hearing the music/singing.I'd say an average pantomime, at an expensive price!
