Bought our steam iron some time ago from a Tefal retailer, we bought the "Tefal Pro Express Total Control" model with the calcium collector. The control monitor for the calcium build up just does not work and never has! The collector rod when taken out to clean is always shiny clean, this is because any calcium within the iron is spewed out onto the items being ironed. Some clothes have been totaly destroyed by this iron. DO NOT RELY ON THIS IRON TO DO A GOOD JOB. I have only this one criticism of Tefal but it is totaly annying when preparing cloths for wear or packing that the calcium spews out onto freshly laundered garments or sheets. The Calcium collecter just does not work.

leaks water continuly while ironing. Marks the cloths even after cleaning the system. If it did not leak so much water it would be quite a good iron but i have to dry the kitchen floor after ironing as it soakes through the ironing table then drips on the floor.
