Sony kdl40v4000

Sony kdl40v4000 has a very good picture. set up simple,and good remote. The sound can be a bit tinny when sound is turned up high.

Good value for money

I would highly recommend this TV, esp. if you have access to HD channels.

V good blacks, & good upscaling of standard definition channels.Fairly easy to change settings, esp. if you're familiar with Sony TVs. EPG is good, with settings for reminders, recording (with suitable auxiliary equipment), etc. Lots of connection points.Uses about the same wattage as my old Sony 28" cathode-ray TV.

Excellent sound & full HD picture quality with good energy efficient features. I paid £581 with a free 5 year warranty & 5m HDMI lead but you must shop around. Very good quality TV with quality features - 9/10 all round.

Possibly sonys best value set, very close to the 40w4000 in terms of overall performance, stylish in use, I set mine up with a bluray calibration disc and the all round performance is splendid, if you do this you also lower the sets power consumption by around 40 percent from its shipped settings, so carbon friendly too!

Good picture/sound and easy to use

I paid £739 but advertised for £599 on TV.. you need to shop around. The TV is great with no real negative points as yet but I've only had it 3 weeks... give it time.
