I went to Getbike with zero riding experience and now hold a full motorcycle licence. When. I recently needed to pick up some bits for my bike I went straight back to the helpful friendly staff at getbike, as they've always offered good solid advice, and although they sell the kit, they're honest and won't try to sell you stuff you don't really need. The instructors are all very friendly and approachable, all very experienced, and most importantly, they're good teachers who can put the information across. When you're sitting in the test centre at Uxbridge with students and instructors from other schools, you soon realise that getbike really are the best choice and you'll be glad you went with them. I'm in no way affiliated with this company, I'm just a very happy customer. I'd recommend them to anyone who was looking to get into motorcycling.

I was really nervous as I had never ridden a bike before. Yusaf the instructor was fantastic - he explained everything really clearly and helped develop your confidence in easy to manage steps. The training was great and they encouraged you the whole time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

A superbly organised traing centre with excellent equipment and probably the best crew of instructors and support staff I have ever come across. Nothing was too much trouble and the advice given was always pertinent and timely. The CBT element of the training was run as a group exercise and the instructor had the patience of a saint which he must now be given the group we had. Since the objective was to get a full licence by March 13 the Mod 1 and 2 followed quickly and GetBike fixed both the weather and the training to the appropriate level. Had great fun doing both elements and was able to get good advice on minimum clothing levels and hire what clothing I didn't have. Being an incompetent in terms of booking tests was happy to leave this to GetBike who invariably found days and times which suited me and always managed to find a jolly good instructor to knock 45 years of bad habits out of my riding and take the time and trouble to explain how and why the World has moved on. Particualrly enjoyed the fun and games of the new licence regulations where the staff at GetBike all tried very hard to understand what was required which is a lot more than can be said of the DSA who were pleasnat but woefully ignorant of their own new regulations. So got my full licence again and will now ride my 143 cc clutchless bike (Clement Model B)legally thanks to GetBike. Shaun C

I had two instructors, terry and Louis! Both were very patient and amazing instructors. All the staff was friendly and kept checking on me while I was waiting for Louise to return from a training with another session. We were 3 students in the class and terry thought it´d be a good idea to split us up in 2 groups. The first group had experience and had done their CBT before and I was a new student. So he sent me on a 1-1 with Louis. All the staff were very helpful and answered all the questions in detail when asked. The instructors were very calm when I made mistake and explained to me in a very easy manner on how to improve my faults. Overall I´d give my CBT a 10/10 due to having very nice instructors. Would love to come back for full licence in the near future and would definitely recommend get bike to any person wanting to get into motorcycles!!!

Having completed my CBT with Lewis at GetBike last Friday, I can highly recommend them. From the moment I arrived, the staff were very welcoming - professional, while still remaining friendly. The small class size meant that I always felt I was being given enough attention, and my mistakes were quickly noted and corrected, which meant I was able to quickly build my confidence as a new rider. Out on the road, the thoroughness of the morning's training made me feel very safe, and Lewis was always to hand to give me advice through the headset if I needed it. All in all, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be considering further training with GetBike.

I have just renewed my CBT with Get bike. The team are amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable, patient and actually quite funny. You really won't get a better training gang, I should know- this is my 7th renewed CBT. A Big Thank you to Terry and Tony for the training. Also a massive thank you to Bridie and the crew. Really happy with the training provided. Both Neil and Terry were really illustrating in their explanations and helpful with their indications and advices. Would have preferred the training to be a bit shorter, though. But would definitely recommend!! Thanks

Very professional and friendly atmosphere, excellent instructor and great machines have made it easy to complete the CBT in one day. It has been a joyful experience and I will definitely come back for Direct Access training.

As I was very tired and the weather wasn't particularly pleasant that day I thought it'd be very difficult to get the CBT.
Tony with his positive attitude, patience and kindness made things go smoothly.
A BIG THANK YOU!!!!!
Will definitely come back to do the training for my full license.
Best regards,

I recently recieved my CBT from Nik at Get Bike (Friday 30th January 2010) I found Get Bike through an internet search, and in complete honesty chose them entirely because they offered the cheapest, most hassle free CBT that i could find in London - Especially if you want all the gear and the bike supplied for the CBT.
The team at Get Bike were friendly, extremely good at what they do, trustworthy and very passionate about biking and growing their business through offering the best value for money possible. I don't often pay compliments and i never really bother to write reviews or leave feedback but these guys are impressive.
No matter how nervous you are about taking your CBT, they'll do all they possibly can to get you on the road with the skills needed to stay safe, and to keep your insurance claims down.
In summary 11 out of 10 from me, there's a kitchen for free tea and coffee all day, the training could not be improved upon in any way, it's the cheapest you'll find, and if you need any gear etc they don't overcharge for anything. I genuinely wish i'd waited instead of buying all my gear before i went along to the CBT.
Top tip - If you haven't already bought a bike drop down and see them, they offer an unbelievable long term bike hire deal including all the gear, servicing, insurance etc, so you don't have to part with a huge lump of cash straight away or on repairs etc. Cheap bikes to buy too.
Only thing i don't rate is the website, you can't see the cost of gear etc when browsing and would probably have to go down to the shop if you wanted to check it out and get the best deals. It's literally to the right and opposite Northfields Tube station though, so easy to get to with or without a bike.

I attended my CBT training on Monday 30th November, and despite the day starting out with miserable weather, it turned out to be a great day...(for me anyway)
I have never before ridden a motorbike or scooter and was feeling quite terrified before the session started. When I arrived nice cup of tea and a chat made me feel warmer and better!
From start to finish everything was explained and demonstrated really clearly - I'm a trainee teacher myself and know how hard this can be - especially to complete beginners. Looking at the mopeds first was really helpful and gives a good idea of how to look after your bikes and what to look out for when buying a bike.
The day was long and pretty difficult for the trainer (Phillipe) as a couple of the guys didn't understand too much english, but Phillipe was fabulous and had great patience and his passion for getting people to ride safely was very evident throughout the day. We pulled through and I was really excited at having been out on the road and successfully reaching over 30mph!!!
I am very pleased with the training and would now confidently, happily and safely scoot along the open road. I cannot wait to get my first little moped, be free of the dreaded bus, and I am looking forward to upgrading my training to a 'proper' bike soon.
Thanks for all your help and good advice,

I had been zipping round on a scooter for a good few months; I'd done my CBT with another outfit but didn't rate them in terms of passing my DAS. I visited Get Bike who gave me a quick assesment and suggested that I'd need a two-day course in order to pass. I didn't share their optimism.
Day one of the course was hard-going; I found it really difficult to do the slalom stuff and my balance was really poor. My instructor, Adrian, really stuck by me and transfered me to another bike for part 1 of the test. I passed. No sweat. Part 2 of the test equally well run - passed first time.
This is a well-run and professional outfit that'd I'd have no hesitation in recommending to any would-be bikers.

I found out about Get bike back in May of this year from a friend. I had got to the point where I was so frustrated with having to use public transport and had started to consider the idea of getting a scooter. I rung Louis and was told they had just started a new scheme in which for the price of my oyster I could jump straight on a brand new bike.
The CBT course was a bit unknown to start with as I have not ridden a bike before. It was incredibly interesting and essential for me and by the end of the day out riding with the instructors, I was buzzing with excitement. It answered a number of safety worries for me showing me how to prepare for other vehicles on the road and thinking ahead. Even down to things like what to wear, not paying congestion charging and where to park. I had a number of questions answers which had made me worried and had stopped me being brave enough to change.
I have now been on my scooter for a few months and am looking to take my theory for my full bike license next month. I must admit I struggled for the first few days travelling along the busy A40 to work, slowing learning to filter through traffic. It took me a month to really relax and feel totally confident on the road. I am now totally shocked at how much freedom a bike gives over public transport. Riding in the rain and changing weathers have not been a huge problem and I am glad at all the tips and bike gear I got with the deal. Knowing I can park my bike outside a shop without having to pay and finding an incredible number of motorbike parking bays in London; has meant I now travel in and out of central every day. Also having a back box on the bike means I can store both my jacket and helmet secure on the bike and go shopping.
I am totally hooked on having a bike and certainly do not miss waiting for a train or bus in the cold or having someone squashed in my face each morning. I am so glad I made the decision and extremely grateful that I took a package deal over doing it by myself. I would recommend getting a bike or scooter to anyone that lives in London, as it will make your life so much easier and much more stress free. Passing the huge lines of cars each morning brings a smile to my face.
Thanks for all your help
Its has been truly appreciated.

I have used GetBike from the very start of my biking interests.
From the CBT training to buying my actual bike and all the gear! GetBike was able to cater to all my needs and help me out with everything I needed to get out on the road biking and more.
Having wanted to learn to ride for a number of years I finally decided to get into gear (excuse the pun!) and book my CBT. As I had absolutely no previous riding experience (nor do I know anyone who rides for any inside info/tips :( ) I decided to go for a reputable training centre as I have seen other training schools which do not offer all the gear, or even the bike on the day. As I was completely new to riding I wanted to make sure I was in good hands, hence Get Bike, and indeed I was .
After a great CBT training day in the sunshine out riding an auto 50cc bike (I think it was) with a greatly entertaining instructor, I had decided I wanted to take it a little further and enquire about a geared-bike (to fuel my love of all things fast and exciting). I had a very good talk with one of the other instructors who informed me of the gear conversion they offered which could be done on any day I was free and could be a private lesson, what a great idea! Little did I know this would be my first day in my GetBike experience.
From CBT Training, to Gear Conversion course, to buying my first bike, to buying all my highly fashionable (yet very safe) special order gear, I have been a regular at GetBike to ensure I have everything I need to be safe and confident on the roads.
Now 4 months on, I am now looking into booking my test and moving up to a higher power bike (which no doubt GetBike's will source for me) as a start to many years of riding to come and relationship with GetBike's.
CONCLUSION:
All in all a great one-stop-bike-shop with exceptional staff who are more than willing to help with any of your biking needs!
Highly recommended.

Friendly, excellent classroom instruction with HUMOUR, even! They have a parking area out back where you an do your CBT, and on site car parking as well. All the equipment you need is supplied for your training. When it's time for your BIG TEST, they book the test for you, give you a final lesson on the test day, accompany you to the test centre, and interface with the tester. VERY encouraging!
Get Bike, Ealing, London is SUPER! They shepherded me through what for an American biker is a bewildering process of geting one's full UK license - from the CBT and on to their excellent training that ensured I passed my test the first go.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
