Stansted Express

Stansted Express is brilliant. I've used it a few times now and will continue to do so because of its fantastic service and brand new spectacularly clean trains. Stansted Express has recently started using new trains which are very comfortable and very modern. It's not the fastest service in the world, taking about 3/4 of an hour and that's my only criticism however it does depart every 15 minutes from the terminal building to London Liverpool Street, so never much hanging around on the platform. The other direction is also served every 15 minutes and takes the same amount of time. Liverpool Street station is the perfect location in London to get to almost anywhere quickly via the London Underground lines. The Stansted Express also seems to always be bang on time, which is vital for trains to and from an airport, especially a busy one, making the Stansted Express extremely reliable. You could be in the line for the London Eye in just 2 hours after landing thanks to the amazing service provided by the Stansted Express!

If anyone is traveling from out of the UK, do yourself a favour and take one of the many buses that run to London. The service is great, is half the price and you will be dropped at one of many locations around London also saving on metro costs. I do not recommend StansteadExpress.com

The Stanstead Express service is quite good if expensive compared to coaches, but beware of buying return tickets as they cancel trains and put you on coaches for which the same journey is less than half the price, and trying to get a refund is extremely difficult. Drive your car and forget to the environment... A recommendation for British transport... Check out Germany, Czech and Slovak Republics transport, they are excellent

StansteadExpress.com is a fast-loading, easy-to-use site. I was able to book my tickets for the Stanstead Express train service within minutes. Much better than queing up - the franchise running this service have horrendously long queues at Liverpool Street and Stanstead Airport. Cheaper than booking 'in person' as well. Will always be booking online with these guys in future!
