Visited Yalos Beach Villa in Corfu with SunIsle. Given impression it was secluded & private, yet they failed to mention that a caretaker lived in an annex attached to the rear of the property. We were met by some bloke's socks & jeans hanging on a washing line & he had to walk through our 'private' area whenever he needed to see to his vegetables, chickens or even just to go out. Air con wasn't in situ as described (The one unit they had looked filthy and unusable). Grass was knee high around pool. The owner had a go at us each time she visited (& they were long visits!) - Bedlinen was washed & dried using the villa washing machine & washing line so owner & maid stayed all day on wash days. One day the owner brought her grandchildren with her to use the pool at the villa if we had been out. They just wandered about our 'private' area too. They didn't speak English & we don't speak Greek, so complaining was tricky. There were also quite a few other issues. The Sun Isle Rep agreed with all our complaints & yet, now we are home, SunIsle won't agree to reasonable compensation because they have had no bad reviews since our visit (though these issues have supposedly been dealt with now, so I would hope they don't get any further complaints. No consolation to us. I wouldn't recommend either the villa or Sun Isle.
