Sent a different vynal to the pic that was showed.. wrong remix sent ..

I ordered 2 records off HTFR and an advertised a record was not in stock. So they sent me 1 record with postage for that record and store credit for the out of stock one. I felt they could have contacted me before sending the record so I could pick another record to get the postage of more than one record at £4 instead £2.69. For the out of stock record I had a refund and order 2 more records so I had to pay postage twice. Apart from this the service was good.

Taking advantage of their recent half-price promotion, I ordered three records. One was in visually poor condition and played as bad as it looked, one other was so-so, just about acceptable and the third was what one would expect as a decent record. In addition, the picture sleeve for the poor condition record was missing; neither the condition nor the lack of picture sleeve were mentioned in the sales listing on their site. Finally, having purchased off of them before on Discogs, I was wee bit suspicious that they had increased the prices of their stock prior to advertising the promotion as the prices of the identical items as sold via their Discogs storefront were lower on all three counts. To their credit, after contacting them and offering to take pics or send audio, they sent a refund for the single record without requiring me to send any evidence nor requesting it be sent back although I did make it plain in my complaint, that if they wanted it sent back then they would have to pay for the cost of returning it. Overall, a little disappointing, probably won't bother ordering via their own website again unless the prices are a lot cheaper than via purchasing from their store on Discogs as I would rather be able to have the option to leave feedback.

If you need these urgently for a gift then do not bother. My ones arrived late so I would have been better off putting cash in the card.

HTFR used to be the place to go for finding that once lost tune from your record bag. Now their are lots of very competitive alternatives you will find that HTFR have over inflated prices. HTFR is still worth a visit, especially for the collector who wants a perfect sleeve but do check out the other online shops as well. Discogs is a great resource with independent sellers selling records at very reasonable prices through the website. I could have paid 1/3 of teh price for my latest vinyl purchase if I went to Discogs first.

theres something wrong with your website,the check out delets all the albums before i bought them,it takes me hours to find the records i want then they disappear,how about discounts for valued customers!!!!!! or vinyl on credit!!!! or by one get 2 free........
