Puma Ballistic 5000

I have had this bat for 3 seasons. I really liked the pick up and balance of this bat, it felt very natural. In the first season I was a little disappointed in the bats middle even though it had been knocked in and rolled and it was a little high up the bat for my liking. The next season the bat was about the same (it felt great but still had no middle) until near the end of the season when it started performing how it was supposed to. My 3rd season with the bat started out how the 2nd finished, but the middle started to fade again toward the end of the season.

All in all a well balanced bat but with a middle more suited to back foot shots.

This bat is an absolute gun. It has a great sweet spot and thick edges. It is an ideal bat for someone who likes to play their shots.

although it did take me a little while to adjust to the bat, as i was only in my second season of cricket when i bought it. To that end i would probly say it is perhaps a bat for the more seasoned slogger, then someone who is only just starting out.

But once i got accustomed to the bat, I never even wanted to try anything else
