Polluto is the 'anti-pop culture journal', which means they take popular formulae and turn them into something new. The success rate is high, with unique zombie stories, lesbian werewolves and snuff all being subjects of this transmogrification of popular culture. Each issue is themed, and the themes are whacky in themselves, such as:
Post-Natal Depression & the Mysterons
Apiocalypses & Garden Furniture
Sex in the Time of VHS
Queer & Loathing in Wonderland
A Steampunk Orange
They're also a semi-pro market. Love it!
