I've been using the Sony VAIO VGN-SR19XN for approximately 3 months now. It is a work laptop, but on occasion I have taken out of the office. The size is great, and easily fits into my bag. It is also really quite light.
The LCD screen is clear and responsive. This particular model comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera and fingerprint recognition for added security.
The keys are nicely spaced apart making the laptop easy to use. Battery life is satisfactory. I have it plugged in during the day, but when I have been mobile, the battery lasted a long time. I've used the wireless option whilst sat in a pub and coffee shop, and on both occasions, managed to connect to their network without any problems.
I'd recommend the Sony VAIO VGN-SR19XN, good solid laptop.

What's good about the Sony Vaio
Keys are nicely spaced out
Decent quality screen
Weight
Dimensions make it easy to slip into a ruc sac
Battery life isn't that bad
What's not so good about the Sony Vaio
Being silver the casing shows up the scratches
Materials used aren't as good quality as they used to be
The usb ports are so close together you can only really plug in one at a time (this is frustrating)
Speaker sound quality is poor
