Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

Having watched the original Madagascar at the cinema, and not very impressed with it, I wasn't that keen to watch the sequel, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.

I noticed it was being shown on Sky, so Sunday afternoon, we sat down to see if the sequel was any better. I have to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. I was kept entertained throughout, and believe me, it's almost unheard of for me to laugh out loud at any movie, but I did with this one, on many occasions. By far the best animals in the movie were the penguins... they could literally have their own movie and people would go and watch them!

The story line was predictable, but kept to a good length. I felt although this is still marketed for kids, adults would definitely enjoy watching this light hearted, yet endearing animated movie.
