Absolutely useless service, extremely disappointing, i would NEVER RECOMMEND to anyone to use their services,

Totally disappointed by the service of this moving company. Have had a quote from another company for 7 cubic meters for 1100 pounds, VAT incl, but wanted to hire a Greek or Cypriot company. My goods reached 7.5 cubic meters finally (measured one by one). We were charged for 9 (!!!) cubic meters. Their terms of conditions mentioned departure 2-3 times per week from UK, and arrival in approximately 3-5 days for mainland Greece (I live in Thessaloniki) after the departure. My goods have arrived finally in 18 days!!! And they would not release my goods, until I paid them the amount for 9 cubic meters, that is 1326 pounds. I would not recommend the company to anyone...

I had a good communication with Mondial Forwarding before my moving house from the UK to Greece, and chose them because their quote was the best. I paid a lot of attention to do everything correctly as regards packing, but when I got my stuff down here in Athens, three paintings with glass mounting had damage. All right, things happen, I thought, glass is fragile. However, when we un-wrapped the boxes and stuff from the pallet, where these paintings had been packed, it looked to me like they were packed safely enough to me. Luckily I had numbered and indicated the value of every item of the move, so I - apart from being sad to have had things I like smashed - felt confident that this could be worked out with the company. I talked to the company a couple of times, one person wasn ' t very helpful, but another member of staff I had talked to - also a number of times before the move - seemed helpful and promised to do something about the case. I had already paid - no chance of getting the stuff without paying first - so no option for pressure from my part with money. Nothing happened, however, I ' m still waiting for a reply to phone calls and e-mails. This is surely not a very big deal, 2-300 pound of compensation would probably have allowed me to get replacements, but I am really disappointed. I am surprised by this lack of help. Next time I will choose a company with a perhaps higher, but more reliable quote, and transparent conditions.
