6/3/2018 I have a conservatory from Apple, which is now out of warranty, fitted 12 years ago. It developed a leak. I phoned Apple and asked If someone could call re the repair. To my dismay I was informed by a male in the installation department that, Apple do not touch any of their installations once the guarantee is run out. Talk about customer service!! I asked if they informed their customers at the time of purchase; that once the guarantee is out, Apple no longer offer a service..to which he replied ‘they did’ I don’t think so!!

Windows looked great when fitted and we loved them, then we soon found that they had omitted to fit trickle vents to three of the windows, causing condensation. This was not handled well when we first complained but eventually it was rectified efficiently. Six months after fitting, the strips of the Georgian-style faux panes came adrift from the glass when the sun shone! They are stuck on with sticky pads. Surprising for windows that cost £800 each.

I choose apple due to a good salesman and what I thought would be a good product looked lovely in showroom and to be fair it is a lovely conservatory just the workmanship and time it took with weeks waiting for it to be finished was a nightmare many returns to correct poor workmanship damage all in all an extremely stressful time doors not fitted and adjusted properly different handles on window the finishing and fixing back cladding shoddy so very disappointed although everyone I spoke too excellent and got things sorted eventually although I still await a reply to a rubbing door since before Christmas

Company presented themselves very well at selling.The planning and promises were not fulfilled.Although the product is excellent, administration and installation was very very poor. The site was a mess, the scaffolding up and down for weeks. After many complaints and revisit,s the job was finally completed to a satisfactory standard.The scenario we feel is the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing.

The Salesman used the old tactics 10k to 5k phone call to Manager. The installation was rushed and the conservatory left in a mess, not enough cleaning carried out I had to spend quite a time cleaning myself.

Apple Rep who sold me my Conservatory could not have been more helpful, took his time in explaining all aspects. 100% Builders who laid the base did a good job Installation team who erected the conservatory also did a good job. Electrician was extremely helpful, Installation team had been on site for a few hours. Knock on the door, from an Apple salesperson, told him I did not want anything done. Second day two young Girls from Apple turned up uninvited on the doorstep, by this time I had had enough of sales people from Apple. Phoned head office telling them to stop harassing me, they said they would take my name of the list. The Conservatory then developed a leak. It took four phone calls get someone round to do the remedial work. In conclusion, the product is good, along with the installation teams; site left clean and tidy, price competitive with others of the same standard. This company is badly let down by constant cold calling of sales staff; you have to be firm to the point of rudeness to end the constant cold calling

I had windows, front door and roof line done by Apple recently and I am very happy with the work. HOWEVER once you have work done by them, they pester you constantly to spend more money with them. The latest trick was to take a photo of the windows to use in a sales campaign and then offer you money for using it BUT only if you spend more money with them. When they are doing work in your area they door knock and this includes offering you scrappage for old windows WHICH DOESN'T HAPPEN. They don't announce who they are and offer to beat any price even if you have already entered into a contract. I have given this 3 stars because the work was good, but I would not recommend them to a friend. Since having this work done I have found a local tradesman through Rated People who will do the same good quality work for half the price.

The conservatory itself we were pleased with, well built, but the finishing off was really bad, Cracking on the outside wall they built, because the windows were put in the same day the wall was built, and the render they used was a different colour to the existing wall they built on. The lead flashing was such a mess it had to be re-done three times. Uneven beading on the inside. The builders and plasterer failed to cover the top of the gas boiler, and dropped a lot of mess inside, and argued that it was not them that did it, and they feched a plumber in to clean it out and he was adamant that it needed condemning. We have since had an independent gas fitter look at it, and gave it a clean bill of health. The inspector and the plumber caused a lot of upset, and was asked to leave my house. All this cost us £8000.00 We should have arranged for our own plasterer and plumber who we know are very good. How much was added on the price of the conservatory for these too, we will never know.
