We bought this American style refrigerator 3 years ago and during this period it has broken down 3 times. Whilst the warranty covers breakdowns, invariably you have to wait a few days for somebody to turn up and God help you if a part has to be ordered. Last year we had to wait over 6 weeks for a part to arrive and it was only when we threatened legal action that the part miraculously materialised. For the last week we have been sitting with an empty refrigerator that does not work and, you've guessed it, we are also waiting for a part to arrive. Never again will I touch a GE product.
