Wonderful descriptions of her children, her journeys out, her visits to events. Judith O'Reilly, Wife in the North is an absolutely fantastic read. Loved every bit of it. Funny and moving.

Judith O'Reilly's Wife in the North is a well written yarn by a TV and newspaper journalist. Don't relay on it being the whole truth, it is written with a specific target audience in mind and omits things like her having a full time nanny for the children. Blame the husband for everything trick becomes a little obvious after a while.
